Literally never heard of Demis Roussos considering he had a #1 single in the 70s :o I guess it's not something you ever hear on the radio?

It’s an EP so think that’s why you can’t find it on Spotify. (It’s also not great. :P )

Scatman John ranked on the same level as Cliff Richard. Never change Buzzjack!! :D

Cliff does have some decent songs but sadly feels overshadowed by his terrible ones too. James Bay has some great stuff as well. 'Chew On My Heart' especially should've been a hit :(

Demis Roussos is someone my mum introduced me to. He has a nice voice but I can't say I'm a huge fan!

Not lost anything in a while now. Hope that carries into the top 200!

I trust you mean Cliff should be lower :P

Yeah, completely agree with both of these statements, how 'Chew On My Heart' wasn't massive I'll never know.

For every decent Cliff song, there are about 4 bad ones so I'm not surprised by his placing here. However it's a couple of the (generally considered) terrible ones that I have a soft spot for, 'My Pretty One' and 'Saviour's Day' are two of my guiltier pleasures :kink: and I have been known to tap my toes to his S/A/W hit 'Just Don't Have The Heart'!

Mnek my second person out, love him, wish he would release more solo material !
Example and MNEK should be ahead of Cliff Richard. Sorry, not sorry. -_-

So tomorrow voters could potentially start losing their top 10 fave gents!
I actually prefer Paul Weller's stuff with The Style Council and The Jam but he's a lovely man and 'You Do Something To Me' s a bona fide classic.

BIGGEST HIT: I REMEMBER EVERYTHING (#19, 2023)

Illmatic is a fantastic album and a brilliant representation of East Coast hip hop at the time, that was my basis of voting for Nas. Not really that familiar with his post-90s stuff.

I have a handful of Tricky songs in my shuffle playlist ('Hell Is Round The Corner', 'Pumpkin', 'Overcome', 'Makes Me Wanna Die' and 'Black Steel') but haven't dived into his stuff properly yet.

Zach Bryan seems like a promising country star - 'I Remember Everything' has been a revelation for me

Ray Lamontagne was one of the best singer-songwriters of the early 00s and one of the best lyricists ever

knew no one was gonna vote for him sadly

Paul Weller and Tricky deserved higher

oh and could have given some votes to Zach Bryan too if the voting was done today

Scatman John ranked on the same level as Cliff Richard. Never change Buzzjack!! :D

Kind of loling at the implication Cliff Richard is a respectable artist.

Think we have very similar music tastes! Tricky's debut 'Maxinquaye', with wonderful vocals by Martine Topley Bird, is a fantastic listen and more accessible than his follow ups. Do love later singled 'Christiansands' and 'Broken Homes' (featuring PJ Harvey) too. He can make any track he appears on very eerie with his tone of voice.

Agree that Zach Bryan is a revelation based on 'Orange' and 'I Remember Everything' and I normally have a visceral hatred for country

Zach Bryan is definitely the current 'country for people who don't like country', I guess helping that his sound is more influenced by folk and rock than most others outside the underground - I am warming a bit to country music in general recently after pretty much universally hating it for years but Zach is still the only big name in the genre that I've found to be consistently good.
