The snippet is just replaying in my head over and over again. I’m obsessed with it. I really hope the full thing is good! I cant see it being a hit but would absolutely welcome it becoming one ofc!!

I do like the sound of the clip and im looking forward to hearing it in full, but it does sound like a very Eurovision song, i say that as a compliment but others may think differently.

The snippet is going viral on TikTok!

Get that post ESC hit Loreen :cheeseblock:

It’s out there. 2m and 23s. Ugh I hate this short song trend so f***ing much. Easily the worst thing about the streaming era.

This is a banger, but it’s far too short and we could easily get another bridge and final explosive chorus in there!

Edit: I’m so mad actually. Coz this ends EXACTLY where it shouldn’t!!?

I am really loving this despite it being horribly short.

This absolutely would be a contender to win Eurovision if it had that bridge and explosive final chorus!

This is great! Very light and definitely less moody than I would expect from a Loreen song but still has everything we love about her… this is going to be a lovely earworm I’m sure.

I would think it's more because of airplay? Shorter songs -> more to play in an hour -> listeners keep their interest.

TikTok always uses only a part of the song, whether it's 1.5 minutes or 3.5 minutes doesn't matter. Paint the Town Red (#1 track in the world) is almost 4 minutes, Vampire 3 mins 40 seconds etc. Only 15 of the current Spotify top 50 are below 3 minutes.

Sure, when the song is nothing but a "vibe" or a sound, it doesn't need to run for two minutes even, but for pop song I don't think it matters that much.

They could have created a longer version and then released a radio edit, but it's clear that the song is intended for TikTok, since sped-up and slowed-down snippets were created by the label before its release.

Even though "Greedy" is shorter, it has all the elements of a longer song, including a bridge. That's what's missing here. I don’t know why, because “Tattoo” has a great bridge and build-up to the final chorus.

It's a really good track - catchy and great production, but agree that it feels like a long preview. I would like to see an extended mix with...the rest of the song?

I agree that in its present form I don't think it could have won Eurovision as it doesn't pack an explosive final punch, Tattoo has that atmospheric build to the final chorus after the slower middle eight. This track needed the same really.

Is it a bop? Yes

Is it the musical equivalent of edging? Also yes.

It desperately needs a bridge / middle 8 followed by a final chorus where it absolutely pops AWF but we move.

SHE'S INSANE LIVE. WTF!!

Need a full performance of THAT on Graham Norton when she's here on her tour!

I don’t always object to short songs. Greedy, for example, feels full enough for me to not desire more. This really does feel like such an abrupt stop though, that it almost seems odd nobody in the production team felt it sounded incomplete.

Yes, it’s a great song and yes, I’ll probably get over it and love it regardless but it does make for a jarring first listen to be, as phrased above, edged so evidently.

Full performance of this can be seen here:

She's just so damn good... even if she is just standing in one spot, she quite literally SERVES!

Question: Why has the soundbite been used over 130,000 times on TikTok, and rising rapidly, but none of the videos using it are viral and some videos have the sound muted? It doesn't suggest that it's organic.

Really hoping Loreen sees and approves this remix. :o
