Doja Cat's Paint The Town Red could retain the #1 spot for a fifth week, challenged by Kenya Grace, Tate McRae and Casso. Jung Kook's latest track 3D featuring Jack Harlow is set to debut, with new singles including *NSYNC's comeback Better Place, PinkPantheress with Mosquito, The Rolling Stones & Lady Gaga with Sweet Sounds of Heaven and U2 with Atomic City

Ed Sheeran's Autumn Variations is set to enter at #1 on the album chart, with new arrivals incoming from Jorja Smith with Falling Or Flying, Steven Wilson with The Harmony Codex, Mae Muller with Sorry I'm Late and Gunship with Unicorn. There's also albums out from Wilco, Black Stone Cherry, Beverley Knight, Cleo Sol, Animal Collective, Oliver Tree, Oneohtrix Point Never, The Orb/David Gilmour, Anna Lapwood, LP, Code Orange, Dope Lemon, KK's Priest, Within Temptation, LANY, Ricky Montgomery, Blonde Redhead and Andrew Cushin

Breakdown of the week

- Saturday: Some information may be posted on social media but it is likely to be missing most streaming data and is unrepresentative.

- Sunday: Official First Look Chart on Radio 1 from 6-7pm. Please do not post spoilers on the forum in advance as this ruins the countdown for any listeners.

- Monday: OCC Top 100 from 5:45pm

- Tuesday: Top 40 update as and when we receive them with requests, this is NOT 100% guaranteed however. The OCC may publish sales flashes of their own accord but likewise, this is not guaranteed. Twitter and social media is your friend for today. Please post any information you find with a source. Do not nag for updates, we will post a top 40 update if we receive one.

- Wednesday: Top 40 update from Music Week from 5:45, and potential top 5 sales but this is not guaranteed.

- Thursday: See Tuesday.

Other notes (please read)

- You may make requests Tuesday to Thursday but outside the top 40, specific positions will not be revealed (unless deemed necessary by a mod).

- Please do not demand a midweek update, one will be posted as and when we receive the information. Patience is a virtue.

- Sales information will be given out as deemed necessary by a moderator, please bear this in mind when making requests. Most requests for sales will be ignored. Any chart requests between No. 41 to 100 will not be answered after Monday's update.

- To keep everyone in the loop of all chart action, please refer to the iTunes and Spotify threads.

I hope Mae can debut Top 10

I'd add another zero to that number - could very well see her missing out on top 40 as it's been quite a while since Eurovision already and she doesn't have the Sam Ryder factor of having done well there

Interested to see how the Andrew Cushin‘s album does, he’s signed to Louis Tomlinson’s label and has supported him on tour plus he has a ton of variants (7 different vinyl I think).

Mae's record label lacks a promotional strategy, which is the problem for her reaching the top 10. Apart from Graham Norton, she has nothing else booked. I’ll stick at 2,936 sales but I expect Ed Sheeran, Jorja Smith, Olivia Rodrigo, Kylie, Doja Cat, Taylor Swift, to be ahead of her, at the bare minimum. It would be such a tragedy if she doesn’t make the top 40.

Sunday Brunch doing more for Beverly Knight on Itunes than G Norton did for Mae Muller on Itunes ..... haha

Love Beverly, been a fan for 25 years+

Mae went to 4 on iTunes after GN, so it’s the exact same results? Not sure we need to be pitting women against each other just to celebrate one’s success.

Mae has nothing booked apart from one of the biggest promo slots she can actually get at the moment

Music just isn't good enough, and the fanbase it appeals to has much better pop to listen to. That's the problem.

It wasn’t a criticism, but that’s done now. She might not have a fanbase for further signings, but other artists such as The Sherlocks and The Reytons did pop-up stores, Raye had her setup outside Polydor, Sam Ryder spent his free time busking, and Cian Ducrot walked around with a billboard, all encouraging people to buy or download their album. Mae has imagination and could try something similar to generate more buzz and connect with the general public.

She may not be a contender for the top five, but any extra sales will make a significant difference to her final chart position.

^^ Agree, GN was a great coup by her team but won’t be enough to carry her all week.

Not sure what she has planned this week but she should be all over This Morning, BBC Breakfast, Loose Women, Lorraine, Capital Radio, Kiss FM etc.,

I think she's done quite a lot of promo actually. Without even trying I've also seen her on BBC Breakfast, The One Show and Rylan's Radio 2 show and there's been stuff on BBC Online and various newspapers and magazines too.
