November 10, 20231 yr Author Not even sure of that now. It should do ok the week of 8th with CD/Cassettes and Vinyl, + extra streaming from Extended Mix album and publicity from An Audience With but what a waste. Why not just have everything pre-order from 8th Dec instead of 10th November?
November 10, 20231 yr The 8th December release i.e. 15th December chart will be jam packed with Christmas songs, it’s not a good time to release from the perspective of getting a decent chart position. It would possibly have to sell 8,000+ even to outdo its current peak. Its best chance of a great new peak position was this week, with every CD & Cassette contributing, but if that’s not going to be the case then they’ve kind of blown it!

This, it’s such a messy release. CD, Cassettes and Vinyl now spread over 2 different chart weeks, it’s getting playlisted now, extended remix dropped last week - it’s like they had no idea what they were doing!
November 11, 20231 yr It's so strange that this release is such a mess after getting tension and padam padam so right. At this point it's more can it go top 75 now rather than top 40 which is a massive shame for a song as good as hold on to now. They should have released this the exact same way as tension except release a remix or two straight away.

Dare I say a Hold On To Now duet for an Audience With?
