Posted November 29, 20231 yr Surprised there isn't already a thread on this, absolute top tier Reality TV imo. Anyone else watching? Please be mindful to use spoiler tags where possible.
November 29, 20231 yr It’s genuinely better than the actual show for me  179 & 229 are my faves so far! 229 played the game PERFECTLY!! THAT is how you do the damn game! (Can’t remember the numbers exactly so hopefully you know who I mean ) Will make the start on the 2nd half later!
November 29, 20231 yr I have one episode left and I NEED 278 to win. Playing the game exactly how it is supposed to be played. A QUEEN!
November 30, 20231 yr That's a really boring final 3 I hated how 278 was constantly targeted for... playing her own game and then 287 who did the targeting, ended up playing her own game RIGHT AFTER being upset about 178 playing it lmao. Like, play the game, that's the entire point, but don't be a hypocrite about it! I like 016 out of who is left. But he's been a bit uneventful and kinda coasted along. I can't remember him being specifically good in any challenges
November 30, 20231 yr Author I agree with everything you've said! The hate 278 is getting us ridiculous! My fave to win is Phill, the long haired guy, icr his number lmao - he has played a good social game and was really good in the last challenge and just seems to be the most genuine/personable of the three imo. I think 287 is getting it though ugh
November 30, 20231 yr Not a single heterosexual man in sight now i love it This show is f***ing brutal and I'm SO impressed at the quality of this. DRAMA, BETRAYAL, ALLIANCES, MARBLES (although tbh I called it before it started and they had to pick a person to share a picnic with)
November 30, 20231 yr I almost turned off in episode 8 when 278 was able to make it all the way across the bridge by benefitting from the plan they'd come up with but not sticking to it herself. The following players really shouldn't have overtaken her. Either Phill or Mai winning at this point would be fine. Mai hasn't been perfect herself (I don't get why she lied about who she gave the present to, after the challenge) but would be the more memorable winner. The third one I don't remember really picking up on before the bridge challenge. My ideal winners would've been 301, 019 or Bee (don't remember her number)
December 1, 20231 yr I'm absolutely loving this and as has already been said it really is top tier reality. My only grievance with it is how much they've made us invest in certain people over the course of it all, only for them to be eliminated so suddenly and brutally without another word (301's elimination in the bridge game CRUSHED me). Mai aside, we've ended up with a top three of people I feel we haven't spent enough time getting to know or invest in to really root for them. So hyped to see how it all ends though!
December 1, 20231 yr Yeah loving this! It’s brilliant (although wishing I’d maybe not read some of the comments on here!). I was a bit sceptical about it at first but it’s fantastic. Hoping there’s a second series.
December 1, 20231 yr The exchange between the deaf contestants Tim and Jackie was my favourite moment of the whole show, it was everything.
December 1, 20231 yr Author The exchange between the deaf contestants Tim and Jackie was my favourite moment of the whole show, it was everything. "Tim what are you doing?" and "This is so icky Tim" had me screaming, she was a queen lmao

The following players really shouldn't have overtaken her. SAME. I was so pissed off. And then later in the episode she said she WAS being a team player and took her leap of faith. You did but only when there was literally no other choice after single-handedly eliminating 301 who cleared THREE tiles for you BETCH. Hypocrisy all around. Fair enough if you're playing your own game but that conversation where Mai apologised was SO infuriating.
December 2, 20231 yr I've still got episode 8 to watch, but 278 deserves all the hate. I could understand their tactic if they were 2-3 panels from the end, but at some point she was going to have to make a choice. Then one of the most likeable characters and the person who has probably the most screen time gets eliminated. I still think amongst all the contestants there are loads of producer plants/actors.
December 9, 20231 yr 287 deserved to win, what a powerhouse in that RPS game. She obliterated Phill. I was surprised they are announcing auditions already The shots at the end were SO cringe, I loved them. "Can we pop by to film you eating a cookie for 0.67 seconds on camera?"

Those shots were great haha. Was fun to go to some of the other characters too. The right person won. Loved this though, hoping Season 2 is just as good!
December 9, 20231 yr Really enjoyed this too and binged it this week. I have no issue with Mai winning - apart from the thing with Ashley (which she at least had a reason for) she was very fair and competitive throughout, got a bit lucky at times but was very skilled and had great strategy, could read people really well etc. Phill deserved his place in the final too, loved him. Although maybe Ashley being there with Mai would have been more entertaining. I would have liked to have seen Trey or LeAnn get through to the final few, marbles was brutal facing pairs off against each other like that. I spotted Anna Sahlene, who represented Estonia at Eurovision in 2002, but she went out on one of the boats in Battleship. Also loved Jackie - Tim was such an unlikely villain there?? - and Bee, who I would need on my team in any game I ever play.
