December 3, 20232 yr Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas songs, I'm a big fan of Wham!, Brenda Lee, Leona Lewis, Boney M, East 17, Wizzard, Mud, Slade, etc.. But it just doesn't feel right. How about only Christmas songs released in the last 3 years only? The rest in a separate Christmas chart.

December 3, 20232 yr Where are Elton and Ed's sales coming from????? They are fairly high on Spotify, and are still on SCR so essentially their sales are “doubled” compared to everything around it

I think it did very well on Amazon the last couple of years too (and it's top 10 on iTunes for what it's worth). Obviously the main reason it's so high is that it's on SCR while nearly all the other Christmas songs are on ACR but I'd still expect it to continue returning in future years albeit at a lower position (judging by the OCC streaming chart it's around the same level of popularity as José Feliciano and Slade so would probably have re-entered around the 60s last week).
