January 19, 20241 yr 'Texas - Summer Son' reminds me of the chimes trend, first Tamperer and Maya, then Steps - Tragedy then Texas - Summer Son...any other late 90s/2000 songs with chimes? Yes, it was the version played on the radio in 1999, but it is a remix. The original from 1995, which was a top ten hit in Ireland and Australia among other places at the time, sounds a lot less glossy and is heavier on the percussion.
