It’s also one of Kylie’s most expensive re-issues at £34.99 which I’m sure will have some people holding out for a reduction, K88, KC and IP were around the £25 mark.

The price in no way helps sales but the release is aimed at people they know will pay any price for a new kylie format. Im half thinking maybe number 25 in tomorrows midweeks.
Midweek #11! Hmm, not sure how well this is likely to hold up. Top 40 could be difficult.

Interestingly this is where 'Neon Nights 20' appeared on the Monday update. That was with 2,323 sales so 'Body Language' might be on similar numbers. The album fell to #27 on the Wednesday update and ended up at #55 officially with 2,564 sales, so will be interesting to see if 'Body Language' follows the same.

There really has been very little promotion. Just £35 price tag. Dare i say Kylie fans are a little vinyl fatigued?

Sell it for £20-£25 and it would have got more sales.

With it down to 31 today I'd say it's selling next to nothing outside pre orders it had done. #55 is where I see it ending up on Friday now.

It’s giving KM94 vinyl re-issue vibes which entered at #67.

It’s actually a shame as it’s a beautiful pressing with some effort put into it.

To be fair I've seen it promoted as well as any anniversary re-release, but with only one format and it not exactly being of her most most well-regarded albums anyway you can't really expect miracles.

I know they have put in the effort with the packaging etc of the album but it doesnt detract from it been one of her less regarded albums among the fanbase, this along with only 1 version doesn't do much to help.

I just hope it doesn’t deter any future reissues because we need X, and represses of Aphrodite and others… :o

Honestly this is the only thing I’m worried about - idc if BL enters at #99 but I dont want them to think demand isn’t there for other releases which are more anticipated!

Mad that we're probably still 3 and a half years off getting a vinyl for 'X'. :( We could have got one for the 15th anniversary but I suppose they didn't want to detract from the 'Impossible Princess' vinyl release. Fingers crossed for 'Aphrodite' re-released on vinyl next year!

They need to scrap the anniversary pressings and just get them released while the buzz is there for all things vinyl.

I agree, as fans we just want them and will buy them at any time of the year.

Omg she’s #34! From the OCC:

Kylie Minogue’s 2003 record Body Language returns to the Top 40 for the first time in exactly 20 years this week (34). Reissued on red vinyl, Kylie’s ninth studio album peaked inside the Top 10 on its original release (6)
