September 10, 2024Sep 10 Author Which song is at 100 and what are its sales please? Also how much does the cut-off increase by each week? Thanks 100 312,000 21 Savage - Redrum About 8k per week
September 10, 2024Sep 10 Someone Like You has had a decent resurgence since Adele’s recent performances so I might expect that back soon as well. Linger is also performing strongly on Spotify atm so could also make a return.

So i doubt too many will re-enter. Good luck babe surely a top 10 end of the year song meaning cruel summer will probably miss out
September 10, 2024Sep 10 Does appear like Chappell could leapfrog Billie soon with the latter on ACR. Both should be top 10 in no time though. Where is 'exes' out of interest Julian?

Good luck babe surely a top 10 end of the year song meaning cruel summer will probably miss out Would be very surprised if any other Oasis song made it tbh, maybe Don’t Look Back in Anger. I agree that the rest of those songs will make it but I think you underestimate how much stuff near the bottom is doing <5k a week and will be pushed out (around 15 songs I’d guess).

September 10, 2024Sep 10 It's nice to see the top 10 (and top 20 I guess) look representative of this year's releases, and not so littered with hangers on from last year.
September 11, 2024Sep 11 Does anyone know what Britney Spears hold me closer is now on? I presume it’s over 500k but very curious to see how close to platinum it now is
September 12, 2024Sep 12 It's nice to see the top 10 (and top 20 I guess) look representative of this year's releases, and not so littered with hangers on from last year. I tend to agree, the last few years had been looking quite old and stale.
September 14, 2024Sep 14 Author Hold me closer sales? I don’t know but given that it’s been gold since June 2023 I’d be surprised if it isn’t over 550k and creeping towards platinum.
September 15, 2024Sep 15 I’d love to see Billie , Chappell and Sabrina PPP make the official EOY Top 10 but not sure there’s room for all three :(
September 15, 2024Sep 15 I’d love to see Billie , Chappell and Sabrina PPP make the official EOY Top 10 but not sure there’s room for all three :( I think there's a decent chance all three could kick out Texas Hold 'Em, Cruel Summer and Prada. The biggest competition is going to be Cruel Summer, but even GLB is only 140k behind and currently outselling it by 20k/week. Just hoping the former doesn't get a random boost from somewhere  Echoing what others have said, it would be lovely to see a top 10 entirely made up of songs which peaked in 2024!

September 17, 2024Sep 17 What are the chances of "bye bye bye" or "like a prayer" entering this list? Any other oldies particularly close?
September 17, 2024Sep 17 Julian might have a better insight than me, but I’d say Like a Prayer has little to no chance and Bye Bye Bye isn’t massively likely either but might have an outside shot. The three oldies I think are most likely to enter/re-enter are: Linger Someone Like You Brown Eyed Girl (I’d also give Ain’t No Mountain High Enough and Don’t Stop Me Now relatively decent outside shots).

Thanks for the insight 👍 looks like they're be a lot more oldies than usual this year. Can't imagine "September" and "dancing in the moonlight" aren't too far off either
