A sadly flushed away, never played Christmas classic: :(

Mr Hankey - Mr Hankey the Christmas Poo (No. 4 1999)

I made quite an exhaustive list of these for a project a while ago, and apart from those already mentioned above, there's:

Love City Groove (1995, #7)

Jilted John (1978, #4)

Liberation (1992, #28)

The Age Of Love (1997, #17)

The Colourfield (1984, #43)

Bel Amour (2001, #23)

Hi Tension (1978, #13)

21st Century Girls (1999, #16)

I'd be very surprised/impressed if anyone can find any more!

Even if we're talking exact matches I was expecting lots more obscure tracks mainly instrumental dance tunes. I had a very cursory look at some 1999 charts - massive year for trance and found one on the 5th chart. A no.94 by Nojahoda - Nojahoda which sounded very odd. I'm sure there's many more. Just a case of trawling through the hideous to use Official charts website when there's time!

There were a couple dance hits in the early 90s I can think of

LFO - LFO

and

Tricky Disco - Tricky Disco

They were released on the same label too (Warp Records) and were in the top 20 at the same time.

Sueno Latino - Sueno Latino

And according to OCC:

Sueno Latino ft Carolina Damas - Sueno Latino ft Carolina Damas

…but I assume the latter is a database error.

Omg I so loved Deepest Blue

They were released on the same label too (Warp Records) and were in the top 20 at the same time.

And both LFO and Tricky Disco were awesome. LFO was so different to anything else in the chart - that bass was so deep and the atmosphere was great. Tricky Disco with the alien voices and bird robots in the video was definitely the product of a very ahem, active mind. Of course LFO got used for a far less unique American boyband several years later but much prefer the Leeds act. LFO's Mark Bell later worked closely with Bjork for several years but sadly died tragically at the age of 43 in 2014. :(

Chronological list of UK Top 20 eponymous song titles - hoping it's complete but please add if not.

It must have the artist's full name in the song title.

If you're accepting S Club Party then can definitely include Spice up your life, both of them use part of the bands names.

Cassius - Cassius

Romeo - Romeo Dunn

Thank you, both qualify, Cassius No 7 in 1999, Romeo No 3 in 2002.
