We deeply regret to inform you that accommodations at the Veronica Resort will not be completed in time for everyone’s arrival, due to construction delays, labor shortages, and other circumstances beyond our control. At this time we do not have enough of our luxury suites completed for all of our attendees. As a result, we are cancelling the reservations for delegations of countries who do not qualify in Semifinal 1. Alternative accommodations are being made for these delegations in order to ensure that everyone can stay in Veronica to enjoy the BJSC 161 Final. Our world-class catering partners are also experiencing a food shortage, and will not be able to provide everyone with the culinary experience that we intended. As a result, delegations of countries who do not qualify in Semifinal 2 will not have access to our meals and dining for the remainder of BJSC 161. We are making other food accommodations for these delegations through the remainder of their stay. In the coming hours, your country’s delegation will be contacted directly as to your result in the Semifinals, and if your accommodations will be affected. January 20, 20241 yr 'BAD BLOOD' is not my thing unsurprisingly (though I thought it sounded like one that would probably worm its way into my head with more listens) but I am surprised to see it out! Good start to the qualifiers with Pestolia though, I didn't love this song quite as much as 'SPIT IN MY FACE!' but another good tune from him and grew on me on the second listen.

January 20, 20241 yr Ahh very close for Ramrynia then, oops - first DNQ for them since their return! Terra Avium and Séyetana both absolute essentials from semi 1 and both sounded even better on second listen too :wub: as did Conoria's which is another really good entry from them, yay for their first qualification streak and hopefully this one does a bit better than the 30s! edit: and The Spodic Empire was also a big grower on second listen for me (there were quite a few in this semi but we're firing through them quickly with these early results!), I wouldn't have predicted that one through but the Empire do seem to usually find a way! Another good tune from Neliönoir too.
