Week 2 results:

In a high voting turnout (13 votes :cheer:), it was Jamie xx who snuck a win with "It's So Good", narrowly beating POSITIVE+. The single is the soundtrack to the latest Chanel campaign, COCO CRUSH. Mixmag writes that the "tension-building stop-and-start rhythm from his new single sees the producer blend Brazilian funk inspirations and samples with a modern glitchy twist."

Meanwhile in the tiebreak, DJ Cinéma Quartier Latin (The current Kathaldazia BJSC entry) narrowly beat A. G. Cook in a 7-6 vote.

:winner: Jamie xx - It's So Good [ 5 ] ** [38.46%]

POSTIVE+ - Blossom Into A New Scar [ 4 ] ** [30.77%]

DJ Sabrina The Teenage DJ - Anything Lost (Can Be Found) [ 3 ] ** [23.08%]

Patrick Holland - Third Rail [ 1 ] ** [7.69%]

Erika de Casier - Lucky [ 0 ] ** [0.00%]

Four Tet - Loved [ 0 ] ** [0.00%]

METTE & Sam Gellaitry - DARLING DRIVE [ 0 ] ** [0.00%]

No_4mat - All I Need [ 0 ] ** [0.00%]

This is a strong selection - Shygirl and moistbreezy (much prefer this to their BJSC runner-up) would get my vote most weeks, and it was a tough call with Geo22 (prefer this to 'Alchemy'), but Vitesse X takes it!

Shygirl & Joy Orbison!

What about this one?

Soleil - O'Flynn ft Ahmed Fakroun

3 Geo22

4 Nia Archives

5 Willem Feltzer

6 Vitesse X

7 Shygirl

8 moistbreezy

Saving my top 5 this week - Nia Archives definitely grew on me a fair bit and now wishing I'd given her my vote in the other poll and I oop, nevermind! Love the grimy vibe of the Joy Orbison track and Vegyn is as smooth as ever, also another v good track from Geo22 (better than 'Magic' again I fear x) and another good first impression of Willem Feltzer who was the only artist I didn't recognise this week. The Vitesse X song is deceny but not really up to her usual standards (I'll blame it being a cover). Shygirl song is underwhelming to me still oops, just sounds quite generic and not even that catchy ('thicc' at least had that strongly going for it even if I thought the production on that was a bit bland by her standards as well). moistbreezy song is ok but not really for me, probably better than her BJSC silver medallist though.

alone in my vote and most of the votes going to songs I ranked lowly, oop xo
