It's kinda funny cos it's apparent Raye is gonna win big

but if you had asked me a week ago, never even would have thought about her album as album of the year

don't recall seeing her in many End of the year best album lists but I guess most were topped by US artists (SZA, Lana, Boygenius etc)

Best New Artist: RAYE (I know she doesn't really fit here but most of the others don't either - honestly think with RAYE's restart as an independent artist she's more fitting than PinkPantheress who was the other one I considered x)

Was most boring Brit awards long time to munch raye

Another bad Brit awards.

I turned off after the first hour as it was a snooze fest. Will catch up on performances later. Raye being up for and winning best new artist feels so off. I get this was her first album but in this age of lengthy EPs and mixtapes of singles, an album release can be quite far into a career now.

It’s a shame if it was boring on tv. In the arena it was electric.
