It’s adrenaline-filled and balls-to-the-wall. That one in particular is my favourite song off my new album. “Unfortunately, and fortunately for me, pop songs turned up along the way, too. I’m like, ‘Ah, f**k – a hit.’”Teasing Robbie’s new work, Karl added: “It’s predominantly a guitar record. Let’s face it, he can do what he wants.“Modern-day Elvis I call him, he’s absolutely bossing top of the tree.”Robbie Williams makes HUGE decision ahead of release of new album 'because he wants more number 1s' | The Irish Sun Edited March 28Mar 28 by Sydney11
March 29Mar 29 I was thinking about the new songs and this article. Could it be that he had finalized the album already last year and they thought the movie would raise the profile of Rob in the USA plus give him more artistic freedom to be successful? So his songs had been more 'experimental' Robbie songs?. Now after this did not happen, he might have to replace certain songs for some which fit his core audience in Europe better? Or do I simply overthink this too much :-)?

I would love to him include M&MM in the setlist but as it did not appear in the movie I guess it might not but fingers crossed it just might make it 🤞

It’s set for release this autumn, and the Rock DJ singer says this is the album he has wanted to make for three decades.Rather than being a return to his electronic days of Rudebox, the new record is more rock-focused.‘Upbeat and anthemic’But there’s still a smattering of pop in there for good measure. And judging by the album’s first track, Rocket, this is his rockiest offering ever.Robbie said: “I set out to create the album that I wanted to write and release after I left Take That in 1995.There’s some ‘Brit’ in there — and there is certainly some ‘pop’, too. May 21May 21 Author Robbie Williams is set to release his first studio album in nearly a decade, titled Britpop, this autumn. The album draws inspiration from the 1990s Britpop era, reflecting Williams' experiences during that transformative period in British music. The lead single, "Rocket," is available now and features guitar work by Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi. The track showcases a blend of nostalgic rock vibes with fast-paced lyrics, signaling a departure from Williams' earlier electronic influences. The album's artwork adds a touch of humour and nostalgia, depicting a young Robbie at Glastonbury Festival in 1995, accompanied by a mock protest scene parodying eco-activist group Just Stop Oil. This imagery reflects Williams' fond memories of that festival as a pivotal moment in his life.In support of the album, Williams will embark on the Robbie Williams Live 2025 tour, commencing on May 31 in Edinburgh and concluding on October 7 in Istanbul. The tour includes a performance at Dublin's Croke Park on August 23. Fans can expect a series of stadium shows across Europe, featuring a setlist that blends new material with classic hits.Robbie Williams Returns with 'Britpop': A Rock-Infused Homage to the '90s | www.98fm.com

May 22May 22 Author I can finally reveal that I have the pleasure and honour of being the artist behind the painting on the cover of Robbie Williams' new album "Britpop"! 😁 The cover and Robbie's new single "Rocket" was just released this morning and it's fantastic! We have lift off! 💥🚀😁The painting is based on the iconic photo of Robbie taken during the Glastonbury Festival in 1995 just before he left Take That. It was so much fun creating it and it was a challenge to keep it a secret! 😁 I had the privilege of being at the photoshoot for the cover as well and it was an amazing experience!I will be able to share more about the project in the future! ❤️ 😉https://www.instagram.com/kateoleskaart/
