March 23, 20242 yr Really hoping Future & Metro's album could maybe hit #1 this week on the albums chart, I'm predicting maybe 16-18K as an opening figure? I think Elbow's last album only opened with 16K last time and that was in Q4 iirc.
March 23, 20242 yr Really hoping Future & Metro's album could maybe hit #1 this week on the albums chart, I'm predicting maybe 16-18K as an opening figure? I think Elbow's last album only opened with 16K last time and that was in Q4 iirc. It’s hard to predict I think! Elbow’s last album cycle was quite low-key, and didn’t go down with fans as well as their previous album which sold 27k in 2019. This one’s had a lot of positive press behind it so far & their best reviews in years, so I expect them to sell more than 16k.
March 24, 20242 yr I have a feeling this is gonna be another #2 peak for Ariana, little bit of a shame considering yes and? managed it but I expect WCBF to hang around the top a lot longer. edit: Nevermind lol yes and? didn’t even get the #1 Edited March 24, 20242 yr by Dexton
March 24, 20242 yr I'm not a big fan of Elbow (terrible band name too!) or Future & Metro, so I'd be here for Ariana getting a 3rd week if that's on the cards (highly unlikely though that is).
March 24, 20242 yr Before we have this week's First Look, a quick reminder that next Sunday - Easter Sunday - there will be no first look show on Radio 1. Looking at last year, the OCC did not give us an update either until Tuesday -
March 24, 20242 yr No Hottest Record, though Olivia Rodrigo - obsessed was played just before the show as the Tune of the Weekend.
