Well as it’s fresh in my mind having just appeared in my 2000s thread I’ll go with this stunning #20 hit about the challenges of adolescence. I’m sure there are some TV shows that could use this very effectively!

Day 15 - A song you would like to see a chart resurgence for

Easy one for me - any song of hers could blow up and I'd be happy :)

Day 2 – A song by someone who appeared on a TV Talent show - Ainslie Henderson - Keep Me A Secret

Day 3 - A song that makes you feel nostalgic - Alexis Strum - It Could Be You

Day 4 – A song you like with a US state in the title - Oh Wonder - Nebraska

Day 5 - A song as your walk on music - Vanessa Carlton - I Don't Want To Be A Bride

Day 6 - A song that reminds you of a vacation - Beyonce - Halo

Day 7 - A song with no lyrics - Watergate - Heart of Asia

Day 8 - A song with a planet in the title - The Vaccines - Hometown of Jupiter

This is a good shout!

But had to be something that was a hit and comes back

Not a flop 😀

Day 15 - A song you would like to see a chart resurgence for

Without a doubt my favourite, Fleetwood Mac song. Everything about it is perfection and Stevie Nicks' vocal truly lifts it into another dimension. That it only limped in at #48 2 years after its original release is a travesty.

Without Stevie herself playing London in July, there may never be a better opportunity to right this wrong. Unfortunately as it's an old song she'll probably have to die first and then Dreams or Edge of Seventeen will end up being the hit anyway.

Day 15:

Easy one for me. This year has already seen my personal end of year chart No.9s from 2001, 2004 and 2007 (Murder on the Dancefloor, Unwritten and Perfect (Exceeder)) return to the UK charts. So to follow the pattern I'd like to see my 2010 end of year No.9 get a chart resurgence, preferably with a top ten peak this time. This is pop perfection.

So the scope for this was once again huge, it's basically pick a song you love! But I've gone for a Swedish pop-punk classic that was just as good as anything Busted did, it only made #35 in 2002 but really should have done better.

Their best song  would deserve a Top 10 peak which the singles before and after had!

This beautiful ballad only managed a peak of #27 but I always thought it deserved better, and it’s been a long time since Kodaline were in the charts, so a welcome return would be most appreciated. I hope they do manage to break into the charts again one day as they are a great band.

Kodaline – The One

With the 50th anniversary of Abba winning Eurovision coming around last week, I'm picking my favourite song by them which only got to number 32.

Abba, Kodaline, Muse - love all three of those songs  some absolute bangers being sent today!

Hi Rollo, unfortunately that very song was nominated only yesterday by gooddelta. Is there a different ABBA song you could pick? What’s your second favourite? ;)

Oh sorry, I normally look at the other choices but I missed that one.

I'll go for this David Bowie song which only got to number 24 the first time.

An utter classic.

It did make #12 following his death but nowhere near high enough

Day 14 - Melanie C Think about it

The #95 chart peak for this physically hurts me as does the fact it only went top 40 in Germany, Switzerland and Austria!

April 1st – A song you like with a day in the title: TOMORROW X TOGETHER - Thursday’s Child Has Far To Go

April 15th - A song you would like to see a chart resurgence for: No Doubt - Hella Good

I was gonna go with "Spiderwebs" bc my thought process was "how is this one of their most well known songs and yet it flopped everywhere???" but this is my fav of theirs and after watching the Coachella livestream I just want this to go back to the charts just for fun. #13 peak for this on Billboard is CRIMINAL

Day 15 - This is such a 2000s classic and it really doesn't feel right that it only peaked at #35 (much better than the two singles that peaked above it), while they've never been chart stars, they're still somewhat relevant today and this took them there. The lyrics have maintained their excellent satire and hard hitting nature over the years.

Great shout, 'Time To Pretend' is another of my 10 favourite songs of the 2000s!

April 15th - A song you would like to see a chart resurgence for

Hurts - Wonderful Life

A #21 peak is not the most satisfying so it would be cool if this came back and did a little better.

P.s. I cannot believe I forgot about 'Ode To Billie Joe' by Bobbie Gentry for the country day, remembered its existence earlier :drama:
