She's reached 3million monthly listeners on Spotify, again! Not too far off of her peak iirc!

In fact almost certain to surpass it in tomorrow's update! 3,046,242 is apparently her current peak!

EDIT: Oh and just for context, here is a little fun fact:

CRAZY timing for the trend to hit too! It's almost like the universe saw it barely do 30k daily streams and decided to help speed the process up for her cheeseblock

Where are we thinking this will land in the first look, tomorrow? Is it even officially reset? (I assume so)

#20 at the very lowest imo

When I go to play Angel it was constantly on my mind thinking I wonder when it’ll hit 100M streams so the fact that process has been sped up to barely a couple of weeks is wild!

It’s more than just streaming / chart positions it’s opened JADE up to the US market all across socials there’s literally no better promo than that! Buzzing for her.

The SAD Version seems to be going semi viral too! It’s seen quite the increase the last couple of days or so!

Ahhh I’m just so happy for her. It could start falling away tomorrow and I wouldn’t care, this has been quite the resurgence and I agree it’s put her in a much better situation.

I'm not sure whether they (in reference of this Twitter account) has a Mediabase account or not based on the exact time they know the track was played, but KALX is a college radio station run by the University of California, Berkeley, so I'm kind of sure this doesn't count as a Top 40/Mainstream play, unless I'm wrong of course. I mean, I can't track the radio station in AllAccess site, so I'm inclined to think that this is labelled as a non-monitored radio station.

not meaning to be a downer here but this rlly doesn't that mean much unless it gets adds on Monday - rogue stations picking it up doesn't mean it's being pushed yet (unfortunately)

That's correct. As I previously mentioned, this is basically unsolicited radio airplay the track is receiving so far, so it's not that RCA is giving too much support (in terms to radio) yet. That said, I can see WFLY-FM formally adding the track this Tuesday, or next week if they don't do it this week.

Today and tomorrow will have updates like this but I’m hoping it can restabilize in Tuesdays update!

Does her label have to request a reset? I have no idea what the rules are anymore tbh. lol (I thought it could get an auto-reset if it’s less than 3 years old? Lol)

Jade knew Victoria’s Secret was interested in featuring “Angel of My Dreams,” the lead single from her 2024 debut solo album That’s Showbiz, Baby, in its fashion show. What she didn’t know was just how prominent the song’s placement would be, especially since she released the track two and a half years ago. In a surprise appearance, Jenner made her debut wearing the crystal-covered Fantasy Bra — valued at $50 million — in a runway walk set to “Angel of My Dreams,” her own giant white angel wings surrounding her.

“I’m assuming there’s a gay man behind the choosing of that song,” Jade tells Rolling Stone. “And I can’t thank them enough for picking it for that specific moment.”

Since the show aired on Sunday, Oct. 18, “Angel of My Dreams” has received a 4,300 percent global increase in streams according to Spotify, and marked its all-time biggest streaming day on Tuesday, Oct. 20. Now, the record is sitting at more than 86 million streams on the platform. Jenner shared an Instagram post featuring the song with her 381 million followers. “I’ve reached out and just said thank you,” Jade says. “I’m gonna have to send her something and the Victoria’s Secret team.”

Her to-do list is getting long. The sudden resurgence of “Angel of My Dreams” comes as Jade continues chipping away at her forthcoming second album, which she’ll now have to juggle alongside every opportunity her newfound breakthrough brings. In some ways, she’s been preparing for this. This year, two different psychics and an astrologer told her the end of October would be significant. “It’s just nuts that it’s actually come true,” she says. Jade only really started going to see them because these past few months have weighed so heavily on her, she needed some sense of optimism, regardless of where it came from.

When the cards suggested a breakthrough in America was imminent, it felt reassuring — but it wasn’t the first time she’d heard that promise. “I can’t count how many times people have told me that,” Jade says. “You know how it’s like in the U.S., you get the people that’ll be like, ‘You’re gonna be a star. It’s gonna be huge.’ And I’ve heard that for 15 years.” It was constantly repeated during her time in the girl group Little Mix, but never quite materialized stateside. With her solo career, Jade has pushed harder than ever before, fueled by an insatiable hunger for true pop greatness.

Now, the fantasy seems to be morphing into reality. “I’ll work as hard as I need to keep pushing forward,” Jade says. “It’s just been a whirlwind of a week and I hope it isn’t a flash in the pan. I guess it’s my job now to keep this going and give it legs and make it last as long as possible.”

What was your initial reaction watching the fashion show?
I don’t think even I understood the gravitas of Kylie Jenner walking out in that bra and what that would do. Because when I first saw it, when I woke up, everyone was tagging me in it. I’m like, “Oh my god, this is so amazing! It’s like themoment of the show.” Did not predict the snowball effect it would have, but also it is just so fitting. “Angel of My Dreams,” just as a title, obviously works so well for the angels of the catwalk. But the concept of that song specifically — the song being about that constant battle and love-hate relationship with the industry and remaining relevant and fighting to be in the spotlight. I just think it was perfect. Tens across the board.

Now that you’re a few days removed from the shock of the response, how are you feeling?
I feel like it still hasn’t sunk in yet. What’s going on? I feel like every artist dreams of your song taking off, but the fact that “Angel of My Dreams” came out two years ago — in my head, it was a worldwide smash. It got the reviews and the credibility it deserved, and it got a lot of attention at the time and a lot of respect as a pop song. And at the time, I was like, OK, well, that’s enough for me. With what the song’s about, I was like, no, I’m at peace with that amount of success for this, even though in my head I thought it deserved more.

Before any of this even started, someone commented on one of your videos earlier this month about the Little Mix single “Touch” having a resurgence, and you were like, “Does that mean one of my solo songs will go viral in 10 years?”
It’s so crazy because I said that, and then another interview resurfaced where I’d said, “I really hope ‘Angel of my Dreams’ gets another moment in a few years’ time. It deserves it.” I do feel like I almost spoke it into existence, which is kind of creepy. When I approved the song for the Victoria’s Secret show — they did “Fantasy” last year — it’s like OK, great, it’s a great platform. I’m glad they used my song. I had no idea it was getting used for that specific moment.

You’ve been clocked in on TikTok from the second the song started blowing up again.
Oh babe, I’m milking the f*** out of this song. Listen, I’ve got no shame right now, and I’m proud to say it. When something’s taking off, you’ve got to hit the ground running. All of my team around me, the minute it started having its resurgence, everyone was like that clip in The Office where everyone’s scrambling. We’ve worked so hard and it’s just so lovely seeing the fans be like, “Well, we were here from day one. It’s about time this happened.” So yeah, I will be doing at least three TikToks a day.

On a larger scale, you performed “Angel of My Dreams” at the 2026 Mercury Prize Awards last night. Was that always the pick for that particular performance?
We’d already planned [it] months ago. At the time, we were like, OK, this is going to be the final thing of the That’s Showbiz, Baby campaign. We’re going to end it all with the performance of “Angel My Dreams” at the Mercury’s. What an excellent finale to a brilliant campaign that we’ve all worked so hard on and has had critical acclaim — couldn’t have timed it more perfectly for that to happen and then be performing the song. So yeah, that wasn’t planned around this moment, and it’s now become, I guess, the first live performance of the resurgence of “Angel of My Dreams.”

You got a standing ovation there, too.
I’m getting emotional. I know how hard I’ve worked for this, and I have had a bit of a tough year as well, just personally. I was wrapping up the year writing with Mike Sabath, and having a lot of friends around me, and just being really proud of myself just for getting through this year. And last night when I stood on stage and everyone stood up for me — Rayestood up, and Olivia Dean. We’re women in music, we know what the battle is to keep pushing forwards and keep staying true to yourself, being authentic, having people judging you all the time.

How else have you seen people showing up for you right now?
Every time I go on Instagram, I see other artists using the sound or DMing me and being like, “I’m so happy this is happening for you. I know how long you’ve waited for this.” It’s an addictive industry because it’s not normal to see thousands of people talking about you every day or commenting on your body or your sound and how you should look. Especially in pop, you’re just open to constant scrutiny, and it’s really hard to not get affected by that. And it did; it affected me. Now I have better things in place.

You’ve already started working on your second album, where were you in the process when all of this started taking over?
I’ve done a few sessions with AG Cook, which was really cool and easy fun, and we got on well. So I have been working with some new people, but Mike Sabath is the main collaborator for this record. He gets that part of me as well. I’m very theatrical, but I love hyper pop. So it’s like merging theatricality with that in a way that feels fresh. But also, I know I need to give “Angel” its second wind and give it all the time and energy it deserves before entering into the next era. The beauty of that is I get to work on this second album whilst “Angel” is doing its thing.

A few months ago, Mike Sabath talked to Rolling Stone about being an artist in the age of AI, and he said you have to prioritize chills, this thing you can really only get from a very human process of creating something. Has there been a moment working together that has felt like that?
“Angel of My Dreams” was probably one of the first songs that we did where I got that tingly, butterfly moment when I knew it was something special. I just wanted to make something that I knew nobody else could do. It comes from my story of being 18 years old, getting auditioned for The X Factor, and then being catapulted into stardom. I wanted it to feel like this big winning moment, and then you drop and you’re in the music industry all of a sudden, and you’re having to navigate that. It’s a really tragically beautiful song. It’s desperate. It’s sad. It’s brutally honest. I wanted to create a timeless classic that could live on forever and not be a flash in the pan.

There’s this strange double-edged sword element of pursuing pop stardom where you need exposure and attention to get the backing and support you need from a label, or any industry corporate structure, really — but then there’s a risk of oversaturation with the audience.
I’m not going to sit here and try to act cool and pretend that I don’t want it with all my heart, because I have to keep grafting for it to pay off. There’s absolutely no shame in that. What is really cool right now about all the girlies that are doing well, like with Tinashe — how long has Tinashe been about for? f***ing grafting and trying so hard and pushing, and then having to go independent, and then having to go into her own pocket to prove her worth. Finally, it paid off. But that’s not the story for so many artists. A lot of the biggest female artists right now have been around for time, and if that doesn’t show you that hard work pays off, I don’t know what does. These girls know their craft; they’ve done their due diligence, they’ve put the the hours in, they’ve proven themselves time and time again.

Has your relationship with “Angel of My Dreams” and those ideas around stardom and the industry shifted in the past two years?
I was feeling a lot of pressure coming out of a group, everyone’s looking at you, being like, “Well, what are you going to bring to the table on your own?” And that in itself was a lot of pressure. I’d had a bit of a tumultuous time with the writing. I was so determined to prove to everyone that I can do all these things, and I feel like now two years later, there’s a more quiet confidence there that this is just a brilliant song, and what will be will be. I think there’s an irony to the journey since its release. The song is very honest about the toxicity of the music industry and not clinging on to relevancy or feeling like I’m only loved if people are watching me, or if I’m doing well with music, and then I sort of just get sucked back into that whole thing through that process.

What happens now?
I always thought it was going to be a slow progress, but now with a bit of hype, the U.S. team will be trying to push it more on radio and with different opportunities coming up, whether that ends up being TV or podcasting, all that stuff. It all kind of snowballs and more and more opportunities come in. I am in LA, anyways, in a couple of weeks’ time to be working on the record, so that’s good. I think for me, it’s about not treating this like a one-off moment. I am aware now that I’m essentially almost re-releasing my first single, so it’s doing that in a way that feels authentic. I’m not quite sure yet what that transition will be now because I’m having to change and adapt what the original plan was. I still don’t understand what’s going on. I’m literally sat in my mum’s spare room — and bless her, she’s just made me a sausage sandwich.

Soooo happy to see that her team is working to get it on US radio and get more promo in for her! Just getting exposure and letting everyone see the kind of performer she is and that she'll perform the SHIIIIT out of it etc.. would help!

A new peak of 3,336,977 listeners on Spotify was hit today!

I've read the Rolling Stone interview and I'm glad that RCA is planning to push the track in the US, especially to radio. However, if I'm being honest, I'm wondering how they're going to do that. I mean, the phrase "trying to push it more on radio" seems a little bit odd because RCA didn't push the track back in 2024 in the US, so it essentially seems this is going to be her first release as a solo artist there.

Either way, they already did something good on streaming platforms with the new 5-track EP release and the playlists, so I hope her team works fast on radio as well.

RCA didn't have anything to work with in 2024. It's virtually impossible for an insta-add to Radio without going Viral or being a bigger name (I mean Capital barely playlisted Angel in the UK) I'd be the first to shout down RCA but so far they've handled JADE so well and really given her a pretty good budget, invent new ways to generate funds and keep Jade's name out there (Although I'm sure it's more to do with her work ethic and close team around her being her biggest supporters rather than RCA themselves).

The only negative was the delay with the album but maybe it was the right decision as Radio 1, Glasto etc really did show what Jade can do and build up hype.

Are we sure labels can just pay to be on a playlist? I know they can do deals to feature higher on playlists but unless a song is viral or there's enough global pre-saves of a track I don't think a label can just automatically pay to be on them otherwise we'd start to see billionaires playlist all sorts of random songs 😂

Predicted to go top 100 (86 atm) on Canada’s Hot 100!

I think Friday was its peak on Spotify. It’ll recover a bit on Monday but unless it surprises me I don’t think it’ll climb back up past those heights again. I hope it can stay stable enough to have a billboard 100 entry.

Agreed.

But does anyone else think we might see a strong boost for it for Halloween? I can definitely envision it soundbedding people’s IG reels/TT videos and I definitely sense a rise in angel wings for Halloween this year (they’ve always been popular but now this song has come along and blown up at the right time)

Lmaooooo definitely in a delulu state of mind rn and not really expecting anything, but at the same time, I wouldn’t be surprised!
