Great start for Jade. Especially considering before hearing the song I’d predicted it missing the top 20.

Really disappointed it's fallen to 27 :( I thought it would have climbed slightly.

Wasn’t expecting that much of a drop to be honest! It’s up very slightly in streams so a little misleading, i just hope it doesn’t continue to fall this week so it avoids a big second week drop

It’s stable in streams which is the main thing. I reckon it will climb more after the weekend.

Hopefully it will steady up throughout the week and maybe stay top 15 on Friday.

Sadly continues to fall to #31 on Spotify today :(

 

Wondering if it is going to recover or just continue to slide slowly out of the Spotify chart.

 

Seems harder than ever for new songs to break through.

There was such a flood of big singles in May/June that people are happy to explore those + Charli and Chappell have their viral momentum. Maybe she should've waited few weeks considering the physicals are not out yet.

Yesterday in Brighton, I walked past a big music festival that was happening on the beach (which seemed fairly hetero-esque) and the DJ was playing a house remix of this. It felt like such a surreal moment, does that mean it's crossed over?

The streams are stable though (not sure what they are today, mind) and playlist support should kick in after the weekend. If it’s still falling by by Tuesday/Wednesday it might be worth worrying.

Such a shame it dropped so much on Spotify. It shows just how important international playlists are on Spotify. Getting on Hot Hits [insert country name] around the world and Today’s Top Hits really makes the difference - look what it did for Charli’s ‘360’.

I thought it would remain more steady on Spotify.

That’s better than i was expecting! Seems that the second week drop won’t be too bad. I don’t think it’ll manage to stay top 10 (hopefully it does..!) but another week top 15 would be great.

Finally just gave this a listen and yeah, I see this doing very well for her and having longevity. It's the right sound when considering what's "in" right now and I'll be surprised if she doesn't have success in some other markets with this as well.

Yep. I swear this usually happens an artist gets bumped up to a great placing on HHUK but still falls over the weekend, but will bounce back either Monday or Tuesdays update. We'll see though. (It feels like it takes on average about 4 weeks for a song to be successful in the charts, before it starts getting "the weekend effect" by default almost - so until then enjoy no effect on Saturday or Sunday updates :lol:)

 

P.s. That is clearly just my own observations. Idk if there is any *real* method to any of it aha.

She's still number 1 on YouTube music though! :o Almost at 4m!

I really want this to smash and while it's obviously going to be the biggest Little Mix solo single by a considerable margin I was still getting my hopes up when it was number 2 in the early midweeks last week and thought maybe, just maybe, this was going to be a huge smash with a potential number 1 in the bag. :lol:

 

It's just such a f***ing good song and Little Mix are way too talented to have none of them getting a well deserved big hit single.
