April 19, 20242 yr Author I really like Illusion! Houdini's my favourite from this era so far, but this is a comfortable second.
April 19, 20242 yr Yay for Perrie, Dua and Sabrina making Top 10! Is it my internet or is the connection to buzzjack driving anyone else crazy
April 19, 20242 yr Illusion is really Dua by the numbers. I feel like I have heard this type of song from her previously. Training Season and Houdini >>>> Glad she got another top 10 from the Radical Optimism era though. Edited April 19, 20242 yr by Gerald

April 19, 20242 yr She's doing really well to get 3 top 10s with not the most commercial sound and no features either. All very strong songs - 'Training Season' my favourite of the 3 although haven't heard this one enough.
April 19, 20242 yr Author 08 | 07 | 6th week Ariana Grande we can't be friends (wait for your love) 2nd single from eternal sunshine Released: 8th March 2024 Label: Republic Records Chart Statistics NE (21/03/2024) | 3-2-4-5-7-8 Sales: 200k+ Certification: Silver Status: Standard Chart Ratio 09 Sales 03 Audio Streaming 01 Video Streaming Video KNtJGQkC-WI Biography Armed with a mesmerizing, nimble soprano—and a vocal register often likened to Mariah Carey’s and Christina Aguilera’s—Ariana Grande began her career as a child star on Broadway and Nickelodeon before transforming into a pop and R&B powerhouse. Instantly recognizable thanks to her signature ponytail, cat ears, babydoll dresses, and breezy self-confidence, her slyly sexual personal brand has, like that of the Spice Girls before her, become an iconic image of young female power. But Grande is more than a symbol: Over the course of several albums and scores of hit singles—beginning with 2013’s “The Way” (featuring Mac Miler) through The Weeknd-assisted “Love Me Harder” and “Break Free” (featuring Zedd)—she has consistently outshined her male collaborators and deftly parlayed her stardom into activism. An LGBTQ advocate and outspoken feminist (“I’m tired of living in a world where women are mostly referred to as a man’s past, present, or future PROPERTY,” she tweeted in 2016), she uses her platform to confront issues like misogyny, sexism, homophobia, and bullying, spreading a message of love over all. Nowhere was this more clear than in May 2017: After terrorists attacked her concert in Manchester, England, killing 22 and injuring hundreds, Grande continued her tour. "Perspective changes your life,” she told Beats 1’s Ebro Darden. "You want to stay in the moment and try not to give into fear, because obviously the whole point of finishing the tour was being there for my fans. You want to set the same example and keep going.” And that she did: Her Max Martin-produced smash “No Tears Left to Cry,” an escapist dance-floor triumph released a year after the attack, sends a message of hope and healing, with a dose of hear-me-roar attitude. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2013 41 The Way (feat. April 19, 20242 yr Good for Perrie managing to get a top 10 but the song does absolutely nothing for me personally. Don't expect it to hang around very long either. Illusion is a decent light bop from Dua and a bit of a grower too, prefer it to Training Season but on the other hand it's no Houdini.
April 19, 20242 yr Just catching up, wonder if tates concerts next week will help keep greedy in the top 40 a little bit longer?! Cannot wait to see her on Monday! Also so so so so so happy for Chappell making it in, with such an amazing song too! Here’s to it making the top 40, hope it can go on to be a top 10 smash
April 19, 20242 yr Author 07 | 08 | 8th week Dasha Austin 2nd single from What Happens Now? Released: 17th November 2023 Label: VERSION III Chart Statistics NE (07/03/2024) | 81-57-25-15-15-15-8-7 Sales: 100k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 14 Sales 09 Audio Streaming 00 Video Streaming Video g6KyMjxRgwk Biography Dasha is happy to align herself with legions of country artists before her time when she describes her music as “three chords and the truth.” As traditional as the Nashville-based singer-songwriter’s approach may be, however, she also understands the cultural impact of a viral moment. All it took was a line dance to set her on a path toward stardom. “Austin,” the first single from Dasha’s second album, “What Happens Now?,” is a delightfully catchy ode to a lover who just won’t commit. It’s also proven to be social media gold, catapulting to the top of Spotify’s U.S. Viral 50 chart thanks to a plethora of line-dancing reinterpretations. Though Dasha says “Austin” was always her album’s “north star,” it was recorded after she and co-writers Cheyenne Rose Arnspiger, Kenneth Travis Heidelman and Adam Wendler scrapped a different track, “Play Dumb,” which just didn’t fit her vibe. - HuffPost Top 100 Chart History 2024 07 Austin -1- 0 x #1 | 0 x Top 5 | 1 x Top 10 | 1 x Top 20 | 1 x Top 40 | 1 x Top 100 Social Media Dasha http://i.imgur.com/1SERq1f.png
