I really hope so. Wednesday will give a better update but it’s being Carried by the vinyls so there’s the risk it’ll fall more. Hopefully the hot hits addition helps it high enough

I really can't get into this. feels self-indulgent in its grandiose, disjointed style. 'Escapism.' had a similar progressive feel but pulled it off much more seamlessly

Aah it’s at #17 in the mids, holding up much better than I thought luckily!

Received my vinyl today, assuming them being shipped has helped it stabilise

I hope she remains top 20 and if the song does appear on the next Now album, I can see them including just part 2 instead of the whole 7min version

Shame it missed out on the top 20 just but kinda expected it, still for this type of song it’s decent, and her second highest placement since Escapism (that’s not a feature) would like it if they pushed part 2 so it could get some longevity but can’t see it happening

Still a great result even if I kinda expected a straight top 10. Is it at least her highest debut on the UK chart?

'By Your Side' and 'BED' debuted higher (those were #21 and #20 respectively while 'The Weekend' debuted at #23 so she's satisfyingly chaining together the high 20s debuts :magic:), but it is comfortably her highest debut as lead artist, her first to debut straight into the top 40 in its first week of availability.

I am beyond proud of how well this masterpiece has done! Shame it missed top 20 but this is an amazing result and I’m so so happy for her!!

It's for sure a shame it missed top 20 but #22 is still a good result for a 7 minute, uncommercial track.

Was a little worried to listen to this based on some of the comments I've seen about it - I definitely see what people mean about the lyrics lacking subtlety but I can overlook that to an extent because I think the actual song sounds fantastic for the first 2 parts. Admittedly it starts to lose me in part 3 though.

^I had a similar experience. Part 1 & 2 amazing wow this is really incredible and a sorta modern take on Amy Winehouse, fantastic.

then Part 3 started and went from 100 to 0, totally lost me and that was not it. I'll pretend Part 3 doesn't exist ;)
