I felt guilty not giving Pink Floyd points, they're clearly absolute genius and as influential as it gets, I just don't find myself going back to their music very often. Interesting that The Smiths only had 4 voters but were very high scores from all 4 of them.

Great to see one of my own big pointers Keane climbing this time around, nothing will top their hopes and fears era but they have had some great songs since too.

Nice climbs for Pink Floyd and Keane

Really not a fan of The Smiths

Agree that Pink Floyd and The Smiths are very worthy inclusions, despite certain members being of a questionable disposition these days, their contribution to the musical landscapes can't really be overstated.

Both would have been on the faves list for me somewhere further down but if the list was for best bands instead they'd be much higher on mine.

This is not looking good for me now, I lost 3 acts in the last 3 days: The 1975, Clean Bandit and The Smiths. :(

Morrissey and?

This is the same for me tbh, they are a great band and there is no denying it but I just don't find myself returning to their catalogue as much as others so they slip down the list for me.

Roger Waters has said some questionable things in his time. I don't buy the 'he's anti semitic' line as that is often based on a misunderstanding of his art but his love affair with Putin isn't great

Another 30 pointer tomorrow!

That was me then!

Good to see Pulp on the rise. Plus Massive Attack doing so well too even if they have fallen.

Eww what!? I have never picked up on any Putin admiration wtf?

Years & Years were good but maybe a bit high here

Nice climb for Pulp

Don’t really know any of Massive attacks stuff, bit of a drop too

Oh no we didn’t at Massive Attack falling. Such an essential band

Plus Pulp are great too, the true sound of Britpop

Massive Attack are another one of these seminal bands that I never really get the urge to seek out, beyond the few songs of theirs that I know and like.

Pulp are the cream of the Britpop crop and their Different Class album is, quite literally, in a different class. 'Something Changed' would have to be my favourite

Years & Years were mostly pretty good I guess, I quite liked the Night Call album (I think that's the most recent one?)

Yep - although they weren't a group at that point!

Happy to see Pulp on the rise! Accidentally found myself singing 'Common People' at karaoke, last weekend! 😂

Pulp 😍😍 I'd say probably the best band of the Britpop era in hindsight. Finsbury Park last year was certainly the most fun gig I've been to in ages. And Different Class is in my top 10 albums of all time.
