Haven't shared my thoughts on the album yet but I'm really loving it. Immediate highlights were Garden of Eden, Vanish Into You, Zombieboy and Shadow of a Man, but so much keeps creeping up with further plays, including How Bad Do U Want Me and Don't Call Tonight. Fantastic album and very consistent too!

The album would be perfect if she had removed The Beast and Blade of Grass (or swapped both for Happy Mistake) and placed Shadow Of A Man higher up on the tracklist!

Final thoughts after a week it's good but it's not great and it's not rememberable, and more recent albums flow better and have less fillers. Lyrics aren't up to scratch either for the type of music. It doesn't feel like a cohesive piece and I'm struggling with most of the themes and lyrics for 2025 and this far into her career. 50 songs written and we have love drug, Garden of Eden on the album. Yes I'm disappointed and it's made me second think her writer skills. I sincerely hope there is a deluxe coming as after waiting this long I'm so disappointed, annoying artists who don't release often in tb4 streaming age as I think they lose a lot of opportunities.

I also think she should have just released this with abracadabra

I think if anyone genuinely had to think is this what you want from her it would be no and I think in a few weeks time a lot of people will digest this the same way

Yeah, this one's really clicked for me over the last day or two!

LoveDrug is brilliant! I ignored it a bit on my early listens but it has grown a lot for me too. So infectious

I don't think they really have any rules to playlisting songs on Capital Buzz. I'm pretty sure they playlisted JADE's 'Midnight Cowboy' too (which wasn't a single).

Yeah, they playlist album tracks on there (like 'Bodyguard' for example) so I don't think it's indicative of anything at all.

3 or 4 listens in now and it’s really clicking with me.

Could be in in my top 3 of her albums.

Over 13k vinyls is great!!! Made up with those sales, it’s a slight shame it didnt manage over 60k but higher sales than Chromatica is brilliant.

I really thought this could've done 20k in streams considering even that Partynextdoor/Drake album did those numbers. It will have better longevity and overall sales though for sure.
