Gaga has spent the better part of 2024 here [shangri-La studios], recording both a surprise project and a new pop record she has taken to calling LG7, which comes out in February. (She will release its first single in October.)

The wait for LG7 (February 2025) is the longest in Lady Gaga’s career, at nearly 5 years.

TF-TFM (15 months)

TFM-BTW (18 months)

BTW-ARTPOP (30 months)

ARTPOP-Joanne (35 months)

Joanne-Chromatica (43 months)

Chromatica-LG7 (57 months)

 

So the gap between LG7 and LG8 will be at least 60 months. We better enjoy the former when it arrives :drama:

She has said in an interview on the red carpet that this is definitely out in February. We won!

This is so much to process.

 

DWAS then LG6.5 then Joker 2 then LG7 lead single then LG7 all in a space of 6 months :drama:

Well when the damn breaks the water really does burst through doesn’t it.

It does feel like A LOT. I usually spend months attached to her projects, listening daily for a very long time. So this will be strange to flit between so many different projects so close together!

I completely agree and also think it was ~2 years ago. Time lost all meaning through Covid/lockdowns, but almost 5 years is insane. :drama:
