Posted May 30, 20241 yr fs49xFmmHCo First single from country superstar Zach Bryan from new album The Great American Bar Scene. Really lovely track, I like the use of the harmonica!
May 30, 20241 yr im really really liking this! his output is consistently great! excited to hear more from this upcoming album! Its the lead from his upcoming album which i believe is called the great american bar scene! also qwuick point above joseph, he did put out an ep [boys of faith] a month after the album, which included the collabs with bon iver and noah kahan
June 12, 20241 yr I absolutely hated I Remember Everything but I'm actually not minding this one, it's very Bob Dylan - The Times They Are A-Changin' with the harmonica.
June 12, 20241 yr I like it a lot too. An unusually country/folky song to be a UK hit, many of the others have had a lot of pop elements. It reminds me a little of Lullaby by Shawn Mullins, a UK top 10 hit in 1999. Not melodically, just the general vibe and feel.
July 25, 2024Jul 25 The song now officially credits Watchhouse on streaming platforms - they're a folk duo from North Carolina who provide backing vocals on it.
July 25, 2024Jul 25 They're only credited on the album version which has an added outro performed by them (but yes they do contribute to the single version too). Need to comment on the full album at some point but it is a great album and was fantastic to see this song get a few weeks in the top 40 as it doesn't really sound like a hit at all even in the context of the current country resurgence!
