I keep hoping for Nasty by Tinashe to show up, it’s the song I’m seeing on TikTok the most by miles at the moment but doesn’t appear to be top 200. :(

It has been charting on US Spotify for a few days now (up to a new peak of #124 today) so I doubt it's too far off making an appearance here too!

It’s seemingly growing each day atm! I really hope it shows up soon!

one thing I don't get is what's happening with Fred Again

suddenly one year ago he exploded in popularity and for a while it seemed like everything he released was a hit

but now he's suddenly kinda like regressed in popularity and cannot get the hits anymore

His best songs were when he was struggling to chart :D

For a comparison Fortnite day 3 Sunday was 763,270 although that did have HHUK #1 help too which I believe hasn't added eminem yet at all. So in a way Houdini is now beginning to outperform fortnite

Personally I don't think the quality of the recent Fred Again singles has dropped, his last 2 singles are both fantastic

Why out of all the songs in the history of music you compare it to Fortnight? That's sooo wird

Moreover, Fortnight was released as part of a 31-track album, meaning fans listened to the whole album rather than just the single as in the Eminem's case

haters are so weird

I used to be a huge fan of Fred but he's become really overrated now. Same formula different artist. His Instagram is a cringe fest. The collab with Overmono was good but they carried that

Because it’s the highest song of the year in a single week

 this is the most Liam sota post of all time!

Looks like Sabrina will be no1 on Friday now as Eminem still only marginally ahead on streams unless he does decent downloads and you tube!

Fortnight was huge for 1 DAY lol it's not even close to actual biggest hits of the year, so shouldn't be a benchmark of any kind in that sense.

Of course it's a benchmark for judging a weekly total. Taylor got 90k+ I believe? Em in em is beating her on youtube and miles ahead on Itunes so if he outperforms her 5 days out of 7 it negates at least partially the first two days of Taylor meaning you can roughly estimate Eminem on course for 80k+ and the second biggest total of the week

I give Eminem a 99.8% chance of being 1

But Fortnight came with an album that everyone listened on the first day. It's very rare for an individual song to get that kind of reaction right away. Songs usually take off for 2-4 days or even longer.
I believe these "Fred again... is getting overrated" statements start appearing since his Boiler Room set got noticed by the biggest EDM Golden Era media in the US (Dancing Astronaut), so probably several months before the first Swedish House Mafia collab.
