Snatched a play on Capital as a result of their Big Top 40 :wub: :cheer:

 

That radio play might lead to some extra sales.

Good to see it move from 13 to 10 on UK Itunes. Must have had a play somewhere. Every sale helps

Also Vernon does a few Orvil the Duck impressions etc. That is how this song could go viral with some Orvil memes

I quite liked it. Could definitely get into the charts if it was pushed

Needs those Pride playlists to Add and a few more influential ones like Massive Dance Hits, Just Hits on Spotify.

 

I think we may get a extended mix or a dancier remix as soon as this Friday with the original version tagged on. Maximise streams while you can.

 

Also a playlist like 'Hot Country' which has 7.3m followers would help :)

In the current form, it's certainly not dance'y enough to be added to a pride playlist or party. Get the remixes out soon!

 

As someone pointed out (here or on SH), Peck isn't on Kylie's record label so they don't care enough to spend time/money on promo for the song (best case, a friendly tweet). Kylie looks like she did it for fun ( and for a slow streamer, to a new/country audience) so doubt there'll be any big promo. So yes, word of mouth and radio play are the only 2 avenues here.

 

Kylie and her label are saving her promo appearances for when her solo stuff comes out.

Not sure I agree with this. It might be country-themed but this is much dancier than anything on 'Golden', Kylie's vocal is different, the mastering is clearer. Fair enough disliking it but I don't think anything about it feels like a 'reject'.

Its catchy enough and decent for a Kylie collab, not sure if i prefer it to dance alone as neither are brilliant but both decent.

I dont like kylies vocals on her opening lines in the song but she improves as the song moves on.
