The artist formerly known as Charli XCX seems to be rebranding as 'Charli xcx' across all platforms (first noticed it on Kworb's Apple Music updates but it's been slowly rolling out everywhere else too, seems to have changed just now on Spotify). Stealing Jamie xx's branding I fear x

Apple:

15 Sabrina - Please please please :o

22 Charli - 360

52 Raye - Genesis

135 Gracie Abrams - Close To You

also lots of charli album tracks in the t200, which is nice to see

Charli opened with 16K last time, she'd need more than that to beat Billie/Taylor

Note the No Purchase necessary

All artists do it all the time

It’s fine, this person hates her so much, everything he writes is about her being the worst person that ever lived. It must be hard to lose so much 😂

Anyway, Sabrina jumped to the top 5 artist in the UK (Charlie is 6)

So expect a huge debut. Another artist that got a huge huge huge boost after opening for the worst person that ever lived, I guess.

Sabrina new at 8 with 545000 streams. Gracie also new at 30

Charli 360 up to 31, talk talk at 42 von Dutch back at 56 and my fave sympathy is a knife at 57

RAYE only at 68 but I wonder where she’ll be combined with the other versions? Hope it’s enough for top 40 at least

Does anyone know how Crash faired on its first day on Spotify?

Bit of a bizarre reaction, out of the two I prefer Taylor to Billie as I get certain rich kid entitled vibes from Billie though I like her music. I just noticed Billie and Taylor was 50/50 last week and Billie was streaming better then suddenly Tayor gets #1 by 4k so was looking for an explanation and found one, is that so wrong?

And if we look at the comments it seems a lot of Tayor fans are on the sane page as me

Defending an artist fleecing and taking advantage of her fans for a few extra unnecessary chart accolades isnt doing anything and as one fan put it the only people losing are Taylor’s fans wallets✌️

  • wow at Eminem almost passing a million, quite insane the song's in a better position now than it was a week ago as it could've easily just been a front loaded hype induced hit
  • meh at Sabrina now being a big enough name to instantly go top 10 with whatever.
  • Gracie Abrams seems to have come out of nowhere although she recently had a minor top 100 appearance so I guess a top 40 viral hit was only a matter of time.
  • great to see Charli get a decent album impact, in any case '360' should now avoid the dreaded #41 peak and I suppose 'Talk Talk' and 'Von Dutch' will make top 75 entries
  • agh at Pineapple coming for a genuinely big second hit now then, although I've not actually heard the song yet so maybe it's an improvement from 'Lose Control'
  • I thought there'd be a little bit more hype for Raye but she could very well be top 40 combined at least.
  • wow at Disclosure getting a new peak though, can we please let this be a proper hit?
  • had no idea of the existence of that Kisses song before it randomly made a top 100 appearance in yesterday's official chart so I guess that entering today was inevitable, it's another random dance track quite decent nothing special.
  • lol at the other dance track sampling the same Nate Dogg song now entering the Spotify chart, hope it doesn't impede too much on the Flex (UK) version as that going top 40 would be welcome
  • ooh good to see Tinashe make a splash today too, would be welcome to have her get another hit after all this time.

We've had this discussion like 50 times but not all fans of Taylor are happy with all those "one song at a time so that we can sell the album 30 times to people" strategy. It's not hate to point that out. I would think EVERYONE would rather have a one proper live/acoustic version of the album.

Good streams for Charli! Should do better than Crash in that sense.
