seems to be quickly gaining viral traction now, a surprise new entry at #100 last week and now up to #50

good to have a minimal deep house track do well for once again

as above Pawsa also recently put out a song with the same Nate Dogg sample but perhaps too late for his version to be the more popular one

Flex (UK) version - Not the biggest deep house fan but this is quite good. Another hit to sample telephone noises, can only think of Mario Piu - Communication!

PAWSA version - bassline sounds somewhat like mid 10s deep future house like Tchami - Promesses

What even is a Flex (UK), a person, a group? And why even the need for the brackets, so many questions...

It's one guy. I presume he had to add the '(UK)' part for legal reasons / to distinguish himself from another artist with the same name to release this song commercially.

I quite like both versions of this Nate Dogg sample but I definitely think this is the better one (prefer the more minimal production style and it picks a catchier part of the sample to use as its main hook) so happy to see it being the bigger hit so far x

It's usually done to distinguish between another act with the same name in a different territory. I always recall our Shapeshifters going by Shape:UK in the USA.

However, Flex is such a generic name and there's so many that comes up just on a general search on streaming services that adding (UK) allows people to easily find who it is I guess.

Funny you say that as I've just Googled Flex (UK) and absolutely nothing has come up about a DJ

Aha! It is the first streaming result though

Remix by D.O.D is clearly superior to the original track by Flex, which is not that difficult either. -_-
