Looks like the big single from the era samples Lucky from Britney Spears.

Out very soon presumeably.

I'm always excited for a Halsey album but I'm not a fan of The End, at least not currently but if I'm honest it's not my sorta thing so I don't see it growing on me unfortunately. I'll definitely be keeping tabs though as she v rarely misses for me, the album could still be great

Late but 'Lonely is the Muse' is so good  I couldn't get into 'Lucky' at all but this is a return of the industrial inspired sound that I love from her.

I'm excited for this. Love the idea of a concept album and this is looking to be a brilliant, unique piece of work!

Reminds me of This Is Acting and that was a brilliant album~

The album is going to have 18 songs. "Ego" will be out at midnight local time and it's track #2. "The End" is track #6, "Lonely is the Muse" is track #12 and "Lucky" is track #16.
I adore this concept, I guarantee she'll be using these looks to plug her makeup brand as well  Halsey doesn't get the recognition she deserves as an artist tbh so hopefully this era brings that for her

Not liststened all the way through yet, but it's getting strong reviews.. probably more for the concept rather than anything else.

I listened yesterday morning on my way to work and I had to skip the vast majority of the tracks... There's a couple I'll go back to other than Ego but that's where the album peaked for me. Idk if it's just the subject matter but I don't think this is one album I'll be going back to, something I never thought I'd say about Halsey. It makes me sad I didn't enjoy it because I love her as an artist and I was really excited about this concept with each era/inspiration etc.

But yea if you don't know the background to why this album was written, she was diagnosed with multiple health conditions including Leukemia so she thought she was going to die - the lyrics throughout are pretty literal though so I'm sure you'll get that without me saying

The title track has me SCREAMING, that she thinks “ah ah :)” equates to impersonating Bjork
Haven't listened to this yet but its interesting for me becuase parts of Dasha - Austin recently in terms of style/melody really reminded me so much of Halsey's - You Should Be Sad. Both very good songs anyway.
