I wonder if we'll see Megan Thee Stallion - "Mamushi (feat. Yuki Chiba)" chart in the top 200 in the coming days. It's going viral and climbing the spotify charts in numerous countries now and reaches a new peak of #78 on Global Spotify.

 

I'm seeing it being used in a number of reels/videos on youtube & instagram. I assume it's doing the same on TikTok?

28 is quite high on Apple Music UK tbf, it's at #47 there. But yeah, it's a shame and quite strange that it's not doing anywhere near as well on Spotify UK!

New peaks on spotify again at #67 Global and #35 US. Also enters Australia's top 200 which is a good sign it may enter the UK's soon.

But 'HOT TO GO!' is easily the best of the three

They all sound like smashes, cannot imagine anyone listening to Good Luck Babe and thinking it doesn't have what it takes to be a hit
Well, there's a new Zach Bryan entry on Spotify today - although it's from 2019! It's 'Heading South', which is one of his best. I'd love for it to take off here.
I think 'Good Luck, Babe' probably also has the advantage of being a newer song too. But if I'm honest I do pretty much prefer every song on Midwest Princess to it.

How strange, Zach Bryan has a brand new album but instead an old track enters today? :)

 

in the US Kesha is finally top 200 today at #137 with Joyride after doing nothing initially

Good Luck, Babe! is magic, probably my favourite big chart hit of the year so far. Pure pop perfection - the melodic falsetto chorus with the vibrato contrasting to the more mellow and wistful verses, and the power in the middle eight. It gives me Marina and Tori vibes without really being that close to either, it kind of feels like the 90s Lilith Fair artists for a new generation. And that outro when it all slows down is such a great touch.

 

It 100% sounds like a hit to me, and I'm glad it's done so well in the end. Better than everything on the album for me, hands down.
