It's a shame Someone For Me wasn't the lead single, that's a slick Ibiza banger, love it. Although I do like Lights, Camera, Action.

I've just bought the extended download album and it's nice to hear the songs in lengths you might have expected before the 2:30 songs trend came in! Interesting that the download has the other mix of Edge Of Saturday Night to the CD. I guess maybe The Blessed Madonna finessed it further for the single release but it was too late to update the CD/vinyl.

I don’t think someone for me is a very good single choice. I think there are far better songs from tension II which would be better singles.

Glad they are pushing the signed prints for some extra sales seeing as they are so hidden on the Townsend site

According to Say Hey, updated sales are 31,206. Still no1.

I don't want to jinx it but if RagnBone man is the closest competition, safe to say no1 is in the bag. How's it doing in Australia? Do they do mid weeks as well?

The UK is a done deal unless Rag & Bone Man can generate an extra 30k+ in 2 days.

I know her streaming is poor but in Kylie terms im happy with the numbers as it could do better on week 1 in streaming than Tension.

Id say we are looking at around 35k by end of the week which i think might be a little higher than Step Back in Time achieved.

^^ SBIT sold 31,980 in the first week - T2 should have passed that already at this point.

Apologies if this has been posted before but does anyone feel this album campaign is quite muted ? We’ve had little promo in the Uk as of yet. Even when Golden and Disco were released without the big opening single they still felt like a Kylie event.

I feel that Kylie continues to focus on the American market way too much

and dare I say it or even suggest there is Kylie fatigue ? Has there been too much ?

For me Tension II is great - whilst the songs are short they are impactful and leave you wanting more - I just feel underwhelmed by the album as an event. Give it a few weeks and the album will be out of the chart and forgotten - I expect this sadly

^^ I think we’ve been so used to having Kylie as a ‘UK’ act for decades that it feels like a huge switch now that focus has switched elsewhere.

All valid points but I see this album more or less as an "excuse" to get the news of the tour out, and promote the tour instead. Even in the usa interviews, she's either talking about Padam, the legacy or the tour. And when the subject of the new album comes in, it's all only about the duets, which ironically aren't even part of the core album.

I'm ok with her not promoting this album that much - I'd rather she saves all the tricks in the bag for the next big album/campagn

Maybe I’m a selfish fan I feel it’s not worth it but what do I know - Uk and most of Europe and Australia are the core fanbase - you’d feed that surely - but fair play for her trying to succeed over in the states

Agree I hope she finishes the tour and then comes back late 2026 with something new and refreshed .

Just grabbed the £4.99 download to give an extra sale this week - just wish you could easily add downloads to play on Spotify.

In what region are you sensing fatigue! People are crying out for her to perform more and do more promo in Uk, Europe and Aus. A negative post for an album that is 5 days old and selling well.

Ordered the signed VINYL !!! This is what 5 pints does!

It’s behind Tension on streaming though? That had 1675 streaming sales on the Monday update.

I guess one less track makes a small difference too. Though I think this album might pick up more streams (excluding PP) long term due to the short tracks, the collabs and the tour coming along and it being the latest release.

Just noticed that over 1100 digital sales yesterday, so the extended download made a fair difference as it was on 1600 sales beforehand! They’ve also bundled the extended download with all of the Tension II formats on her store. Good move.

i have had to delete Hello !!

Thats an excellent update. 3rd best seller of day despite lots saying very front loaded is great.

She has arenas to sell in America so can see why she is over there.

She said she will be in Australia in January for rehersals for tour so i guess she can do some promo still in UK. We know she is doing Rylan for example.

She has had brochitis for the whole of September so probably resting her voice hence no performances etc

Still more concerts to be announced to so expect more promo to come in Europe.

^^ Rylan was pre-recorded when she was at Radio 2 so could appear at any time.
