Leaked from Tension era: You Ain't Ready and What You So Scared Of.

Supposedly even more unreleased songs are on the way!

The amount of unreleased songs from each era is insane - there must be 100s of unheard songs
As i have said on a few occasions that id love a rarities release from her as many of the songs are more than decent and in some cases better than tracks that appear on some albums.
Leaked from Tension era: You Ain't Ready and What You So Scared Of.

Both very 80s so I imagine they’re from ‘Tension I’. I adore the production style on ‘You Ain’t Ready’, very The Weeknd meets Prince. I’d be happy for Kylie to return to that with a better song over the top of it.

Back on the iTunes Charts at #135 - I know that like 1 sale but it’s the first time it’s back on the chart since it was released so SFM has sent people to seek out the album at least.
I just heard the whole album again (minus LCA and collabs), it STILL sounds so good. Consistency is key!
I realised I've played T2 way way more than T1. Whilst T1 had more stellar individual songs, T2 just flows so well as an album

^^ Same, T2 is a much more solid listen for me even though I love T1.

Kind of frustrated that it was labeled as T2 and it’s been overlooked somewhat when it’s such a good album.

2 is more consistent but I do feel it's a very now album, I feel in 10 years time Taboo is probably the only song I'd still be listening to where Tension I feel has more songs that will last the test of time for me.

Labelling an album part 2 does seem to kill potential as we have seen with Kylie and Steps.

I agree that it’s a very much “in the moment” album like Aphrodite was to me, but I’m good with that. I’ll enjoy it FWIW for as long as I can.

With T2: pretty obvs that Kylie needed some extra noise when announcing tour dates and saying it’s a Tension re-release with new set of tracks wouldn’t have given her the attention that a “new” album brings. However, if she’d given it a whole new title/campaign, it may not have received the best reviews or attention, as people would’ve said that it sounds very much in the Tension genre.

Most importantly, she was after the records. She knows she’s within striking distance of Madonna if not Taylor Swift. And she might as well try to bag as many records of UK number ones for as long as she’s creating music and has the opportunity..
