Is it a song without vocals?

it is indeed an instrumental. basically a deep house track w/ added tuba(?) sections~

Makes it even better that itll probabaly be a top 10 hit - from the first moment i heard it i thought it sounded like an absolute classic.

And i thought in the first 6 months of this yr dance music was going to start going downhill because there was too much being put on the market - but its been strengthening itself this summer with some of the tracks being released this season!

Oh surprise surprise Giant In My Heart gets added only when it hits the charts and turns out to be popular. Capital are such sheep. They'll never take a risk or go outside the formula when it comes to playlisting.

Because they advertise themselves as playing HITS.

Although Keisza had one of the years biggest hits just in April so they could have taken the small risk i suppose!
Would people here consider Maroon 5, One Rep, The Script etc to be capital material?

I consider them the definition of what Capital plays, so definitely! Pop with a bit of commercial rock and electronic.

I always thought they were more MOR whereas capital plays more dance/pop/urban style stuff - that's why I asked - did they just add these because they knew they'd be hits? Maps for instance is already top 10 on airplay 2 weeks before release!
Well yes, they probably DID add them because they'd be hits, that's the POINT of Capital.
I know that but my arguement was did they add them even though it's not quite their style? I know capital plays 'hits'!
Joseph does have a point in your argument though. With Capital it's less what the song sounds like but more what's popular with their target audience. I see what you mean about those artists typically aren't the general genre of music they'd play, but their current singles are very poppy so I'd say they do suit the radio station.
They don't play certain hits, like Pompeii/Radioactive/etc. cause they're not the typical sounds they'd go for, but that's not to say they won't play *any* song like that, especially when Maroon 5, OneRepublic and The Script have all had huge mainstream success.

Capital's actually failing to get its target audience (similar to Radio 1), but yeah, Capital plays mainly dance-pop (Lady Gaga, Calvin Harris, David Guetta, etc.) and adult contemporary (Maroon 5, Taylor Swift, The Script, Kelly Clarkson, etc.).

The Magician playlisted is brilliant to see :D #TrifoskiHype

How strange that Wicked Games is there too. Now that's something I never expected to see a UK push

Shame for Mausi being removed from Capital, pretty much its only source of support.

Really upset that this is going to do precisely nothing.

Strange its out before release, wonder if they played it at all?
