Still might happen next week.

Is Sheridan releasing another album this year?

Marshmello & Bastille off the playlist already?!

Yep as is often said, R2 don't care for the charts although it's likely they boosted it to A-List because of popularity... But they rarely keep things for longer than 5/6 weeks.

Wasn't Happier only there for three weeks though? And two of those on the C list?

The Little Mix track is potentially without Nicki Minaj, but the website credits her and Twitter doesn’t so will wait until the weekend to hear what version is actually played.

The song has a minute long Nicki rap that I don’t think fits with R2 so I think it’s going to be solo.

Ken Bruce played Woman Like Me earlier and they have edited out Nicki entirely; no replacement verse or chorus they just jump to the last part of the song so it’s quite short :’)
Does anyone know what happens with ‘Record if the week’ on R2? Does the song get extra plays? The website says Babs still but Ken said it’s Little Mix next week.

It gets a guaranteed 2 spins a day during the week (in addition to playlist rotation), one on Ken Bruce’s show every day and one on another show throughout the week although usually it’s on Simon Mayo/Jo Whiley. The new record of the week always starts on a Monday, although Ken will often play the new one the Friday before as he did yesterday with Little Mix.

Thank you!

There’s an official edit from the record company with no Nicki on so I guess they’re playing that!

Sorry yeah that was what I was meant to say. Radio 2 have not savagely edited out Nicki themselves
