There is no legit reason for Nish to STILL be alive in 2025 tbh.

Anyone think Nigel may have dementia? He got the name of the club wrong last night as well as calling Phil ‘Grant’. Easy mistakes in real life but scripted? He also says he and Julie have split up but from her texts that doesn’t seem to be the case?

Good call and it would make sense with those name mistakes he has made, good call and think you could be right.

Tonight's episode was fantastic. I was totally engaged all the way through, to the point I didn't even think I was watching people act. Uncomfortable viewing at times, but realistically so. I complete

I nearly missed out on tonight's episode I just spotted it's on at 10pm on BBC, in Ireland no episode tonight and double serving tomorrow.

Well thank the lord that'll be the end of Nish but now we've got to wait to find out the fate of Eve, Suki and Denise :o

I do want a happy ending for Eve and Suki but I'm worried it won't happen. Really enjoyed the episode and the build up the to the ending

Eve, Suki + Denise will all be fine

I screeched at Suki sprawled out on Nish looking like she was having a really peaceful sleep

She was serving absolute c**t with that final pose.

We've seen worse happen and given it's Anniversary time they could really go in hard and kill off Eve to create a shockwave. I want to be wrong but we can't be confident in anything these days until the actual scenes have aired

Can they rip Nish’s vital organs out to make sure he’s actually dead this time?

Suki is definitely alive because she fell on Nish basically, they wouldn’t kill off Denise either, I think Eve could be dead as that’s such an Eastenders wedding thing to do. I think the anniversary will have a big death so maybe not but I wouldn’t be shocked if they kind of set off what to expect with this as well.

Plot twist: Nish is the only survivor and the other three are all dead :cheeseblock:

I might actually stop watching if any of that were true

Not the Panesar-Unwin double barrel... Suki must've had a maiden name they could've used

Looks like it'll be a 6am iPlayer upload tomorrow so that pretty much confirms Nish dead and everyone else fine

Suki, Cindy, Eve and Denise all serving c**t in Walford General:

I hope to god both Suki and Eve are fine, all of that for nothing if either of them are dead

I think there might be quite a bit of uproar online if they kill off two queer women the moment they're finally happy as it's a common TV trope that doesn't really bode well but then it's a soap so who knows

I think Esther/Kim in Hollyoaks and Ali/Ruby in Emmerdale are the only two lesbian weddings to actually successfully happen in soap, and even then Ruby died less than a year later  So for once for it would be nice to just have them be happy from now, with Nish dead. We still got the dramatic episode and cliffhanger but there is just no need for Nish to still get his way.

Neighbours has a pretty good record for lesbian weddings with Sky/Lana and Chloe/Elly all still breathing. Although none of them were regular cast members any longer.

Surely Clenshaw is aware that to kill off either Eve or Suki or both would be inviting untold criticism? They both must survive. They’re also two of the strongest actors in the show, they can’t afford to lose either.

Nish better be dead this time, I won’t be able to cope if he somehow survives.

I hope to god both Suki and Eve are fine, all of that for nothing if either of them are dead

That trope was my first thought, too :/

That was SUCH a great episode, I enjoyed it way more than Christmas. Really hoping Eve survives, I’m confident Sukhi and Denise will be fine.

Navin has been incredible as Nish, a great villian.

Also I just want to add it was so nice to see Suki and Eve get married, it’s nice to see the representation. Especially as someone who is gay and Asian, it’s not something you see often.

It was predictable in many parts but good at the same time, made no sense for Denise not to run the minute she saw Nish.

Also the minute Vinny was left alone with Nish you knew he would get away, Vinny though is just a pointless character I find.

I do think Eve will be killed off to show Domestic violence can have extremely tragic endings or they may go the route of all 3 survive showing people like Nish don't always get what they want.

Ideally it would have went another way and Nish accidentally killed himself along with Vinny.
