Not sure why they left the impact date this late, it just meant the mild hype from the XF performance came and went. Doesn't look like it was ever going to be a big hit anyway as after all the XF impact wasn't THAT big and it's now struggling to even return to the top 100 on iTunes with airplay.

I don't think Guetta's promotion has been great this time round, by releasing before Xmas his album got lost inthe Xmas release rush and has been underwhelming, and as you say the 2nd single has come late and months after XFactor. Would have been better to have released the album in January with a much quieter release schedule.

Surprised Capital aren't all over 'Pray to God' ?

Wouldn't surprise me if that's in the next update, alongside G.R.L. (who I thought would be there this week tbf, would be strange to snub them when they supported Ugly Heart...)

You never know with Capital. They pretty much solely made Neon Jungle's 'Braveheart' into a hit and then never supported any of their later singles.

That always surprised me. It would have been interesting to see how Neon Jungle would have performed with Capital support on 'Welcome To The Jungle' and 'Louder'. I'm interested to see how Neon Jungle next campaign manages especially as 'Can't Stop The Love' never even managed to go top 400 on iTunes.

I'm sure Capital will support 'Lighthouse' though and I'm sure Radio 1 will support 'Lighthouse' seeing how it's doing reasonably well worldwide and it's top 1,300 on iTunes without any airplay.

^ Yeah, Capital FM will play a song loads then not play the follow-up. This even happened to people like Rihanna and Lady Gaga before.

At least with Radio 1 if they don't playlist something you at least still know they'll play it a few times here and there.

Capital's New Additions:

Chris Brown X Tyga Ayo

Ed Sheeran & Rudimental Bloodstream

Hozier Take Me To Church

Nick Jonas Jealous

Rihanna, Kanye West & Paul McCartney FourFiveSeconds

Always ahead of the curve.

Really @ Hozier? I love the track but gosh, now of all times?

I'll post the full update when I have access to one, my source for last week hasn't updated yet :heehee:

LOL. So glad I don't listen to capital. It really is true 'radio 1 makes the hits. Capital play them.' They playlist the day radio 1 get rid of TMTC the second time.

Thats odd Capital playlisting a indie hit, suprised they never played Budapest after that become a huge hit, there just playlisting Hozier and jumping on the bandwagon as usual  However glad there playlisting Nick Jones nice to see someone supporting him :D

Not surprised at Nick Jonas being added to Capital. Saw his video like 3 times in the space of 2 hours on their channel yesterday I think! Really willing for it to become a massive smash though.

That's what I was thinking lol they even added a beat to All of Me because it was too slow for them lol

Even young demographic like a slow song/ballad to sing too  Capital just prefer big pop songs/dance bangers and Hozier's Take Me To Church

Nick Jonas <3 Jealous needs to be huge, it's one of my fave songs of 2014!

Capital's New Additions:

Calvin Harris feat. Haim Pray To God

James Bay Hold Back The River

Madeon feat. Passion Pit Pay No Mind

Sam Smith Lay Me Down

Madeon, wait what? :o :o :o

Heart's New Additions:

Kelly Clarkson Heartbeat Song

Kelly is now played on 3 out of the 4 biggest radio stations, will this get her a top 5/top 10? And yay at Kylie/Giorgio & Erasure getting added to Radio 2. :cheer:
