Thanks, and well done both for the 39s.

Round 1: 30 Die Another Day, Really Loved A Woman

Round 2: 33 Tender

3 in 10: 0 I had Rainy Night In Georgia and thought The Way We Were was called Memories

Well done John for that 39 yesterday!

today's game:

Round 1: 27 (didn't get: Guys 'n' Dolls, Bee Gees, Mott The Hoople)

Round 2: 27 (didn't get: The Goodies, Brotherhood of Man, Maria Muldaur/Brand New Heavies)

3-in-10: 2 (Back to Life (However Do You Want Me), Keep On Movin')

well done on the 39 Jade 🤩 and I only just got Tender out in time Rollo, the Gladys Knight tracks were nearly there!

round 1: 39

round 2: 39

3 in 10: Back To Life, Get A Life and then struggled to recall Keep On Movin' so just 2, tch. Yay, Mansfield Town and the accent of me relatives (and me, once upon a time)

Wednesday's wasn't on there yesterday so moving onto Thursday:

Round 1: 36 Sweet

Round 2: 24 Is This The Way To Amarillo (couldn't think of it), David Gray, the year, Billy Ocean

3 in 10: 3 Tainted Love, Bedsitter, Say Hello Wave Goodbye

Thanks Jade, and 36's all round, there, plus David Gray foxed us all! Amarillo there is no escaping from in holiday karaoke bars, so no way of that ever fading from my memory, hah! 😄Round 2 was a long time coming yesterday, yes that podcast editing must have been bizarre!

Last night another pub quiz with brief intros for the music round - there were 4 really difficult ones, the intro to Jump On The Line which I realised was likely Harry Belafonte, and Akon's Smack That which I got as I recognised his voice in a brief vocal bit, then two that totally threw me: a string quartet intro from the 90's which turned out to be Coolio, C U When I Get There, and an acoustic guitar intro "from the 70's" (it was 1980 though, it turned out) Mike Berry's Sunshine Of My Smile. Eek!

Round 1: 39

Round 2: 39

3 in 10: Lets Stick Together, Smoke Gets In Your Eyes, A Hard Rains A Gonna Fall

Well done for that 39 yesterday, John!

today's game:

Round 1: 36 (didn't get: The Who)

Round 2: 33 (didn't get: 1977 - one year out, Shakatak)

3-in-10: 3 (Slave to Love, I Put A Spell On You, Let's Stick Together)

Thanks Jade and well done both 33's and 36's. If ever in doubt for a year and one of the potential options has the same year last digit as the current year I'd opt for the one ending in "6" cos 50 or 40 or 30 years ago is much more satisfying than 49, 39 and 29 😄even if it's wrong!

Round 1: 27, beat me to Never Ending Story, and A Little Respect. Half-way through both titles in my head. So Good - no chance getting Eternal or Boyzone.

Round 2: 39

3 in 10: Heart, Its A Sin, West End Girls. I'm ashamed I went so obvious....

Congrats on the Friday full house, John!

today's game:

Round 1: 36 (didn't get: Nick Kamen)

Round 2: 30 (didn't get: George Benson, Haysi Fantayzee)

3-in-10: 3 (It's A Sin, Rent, Suburbia)

Thanks Jade, and well done both on beating me yesterday, and also on going for less obvious PSB choices, I was too busy with my head spinning over what a gift it was for me that I panicked 😄

Round 1: 39

Round 2: 36 We Know not We Go, tch! 🙄

3 in 10: All The Love In The World, Walk On By, Do You Know The Way To San Jose

Congrats on the 39 score in round 2 yesterday, John!

today's game:

Round 1: 36 (didn't get: 1994)

Round 2: 33 (didn't get: 1989, 10cc)

3-in-10: 3 (Anyone Who Had A Heart, Walk On By, Heartbreaker)

I think we both picked Rent and Suburbia as they are part of the number 8 poll that's going on at the moment.

Round 1: 30 The year, Barbara Ann

Round 2: 39 💥

3 in 10: 3 Walk On By, Heartbreaker, Do You Know The Way To San Jose

Oops sorry I missed the number 8's, I wouldve voted to pump my faves up a bit! Well done on the 39 Rollo! 🤩Jade, just the years being a nuisance there!

round 1: 33 I got Oasis title wrong, Not Stop Crying Your Eyes Out, apparently 😇tch! Mine makes more sense though. The alternative Heart Out title is medically ill-advised. The former just leads to blindness.

round 2: 36 Alphabet L not A. tch.

3 in 10: Crazy, Killer, Kiss From A Rose.

Well done both for your 39 scores yesterday! The #8s rate put 'Rent' and 'Suburbia' in my head indeed.

today's game:

Round 1: 36 (didn't get: Mary McGregor)

Round 2: 39 cheer

3-in-10: 3 (Kiss From A Rose, My Vision, Crazy)
