Has step back in time been top 200 at all in the last few weeks, with Kyllie been back in the charts and grabbing lots of headlines her most in years i keep thinking step back in time will make a return but people aren't investing in her back catalogue in the way i was hoping.

So many GHs get boosts but Kylie’s never does :drama:

I’ve always thought the album brand doesn’t lend itself well to a GH, unlike the ‘Ultimate Collection’,

I think it would require a boost in physical sales for it to be possible. I think it manages about 500 a week thanks to streaming and a minuscule amount of pure sales but I think the #200 manages nearly 1.1k!

That's how I feel, as in so many other greatest hits do manage to chart, Pitbull for example I doubt sells anything physically and Maroon 5 is probably another that would have very low actual sales as it bombed on original release.

Kylie has so many real hits on hers and with her current wave of success I just in my head thought it might it get a far better increase even if it was only for 1 week at number 99.

I agree my huns

Ultimate Kylie was a great little seller

Huns, with streaming being a thing how does the chart company decide where the sales go for example to ca t get you out of my head. As it appears on Fever plus obviously the greatest hits?

Or does it depend which version is played. For example is there one that links to the greatest hits and one CGYOMH thats linked to Fever?

Just Carol Honey ❤️

The streams of her back catalogue haven't increased much (Santa Baby is of course coming soon as usual). Good news is that her new songs do pretty well.

With this resurgence in singles chart success we all know another GH will be on the way at some point
I'm sure it'll have a big boost after the ITV show. It's missing one of her biggest hits now, though.

I hope so, however when ‘Kylie Greatest Hits’ is searched on iTunes only the PWL version appears.

It doesn’t show in the top listings on Spotify either :drama:

She hasn't released a comprehensive singles collection as she left Finer Feelings and Giving You Up off the last one.

That unreleased collection we are always being teased with would be a good way of packaging an updated greatest hits with a "new" release.

FFS. Let her at least turn 60 before the next GH release.

In 4 years it'll be 40 years since Locomotion. ^_^

She may benefit from doing a 1 disc just with the huge hits , kinda like the ultimate whitney collection which does better than the more superior greatest hits

A one disc affair is hard, but it would likely look like that. Again I won't be happy though if Finer Feelings is abandoned.

Kylie gets a hit and everyone starts talking about a new greatest hits what
