I believe that would be correct and it would result in platinum status within the year unless a big sales increase comes about.

Nice to see another platinum album to her name as its been a while since she had one.

Platinum certification is great for the album and it will continue building up more sales.

I know its tipping away picking up a few hundred sales every week, pitty her sales arent higher so that she could join countless others clogging up the album chart for years on end.

I honestly find it bizarre that Kylie isn't one of those in the top 40 constantly... she has SO many hits from different eras. She has far more hits than Fleetwood Mac for instance who never seem to be out of the top 20!?

Fleetwood Mac seem to be streaming well on individual songs as they often have 2-3 singles in the top 100 every week.

Its odd that Kylie isnt charting when we see Pitpull, Maroon 5 there every week and she has more hits i would have kinda expected her to be in the chart even in the lower end like Phil Collins manages most weeks.

Fleetwood Mac songs are being streamed around 9 million times a day globally, compared to less than 2 million for Kylie. That’ll be why.

Maroon 5 are a much bigger act on streaming overall, Phil Collins probably has a few more perennial streamers (unfortunately) and Pitbull seems to be having a mini revival at the moment - plus I imagine tracks like 'Give Me Everything', 'Timber', 'Fireball' etc are much stronger in streaming than anything on SBIT except 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head' which is her only real juggernaut.

Also UK chart rules require at least 3 big streaming hits for an album to make an impact because the two biggest are lowered down to the average number of streams for album tracks. So if the third biggest was big success, that'd help a lot. For Kylie, 'Head' is her only huge hit like said above.

From the songs on the album what would be her next 2 streaming hits, I wonder is it especially for you and possibly get outta my way, all the lovers or love at first sight.

Globally from SBIT we have ‘Head’, ‘In Your Eyes’, ‘Love at First Sight’ and ‘Loco-Motion’ as the top dogs. The rest are significantly lower.
