Tess I've sent you a PM because I just don't know how to post stuff on here anymore since it was upgraded?

You know we used to be able to pick what we were posting and it would be inserted into our post -how do you do that on here now? for example Ayda's Insta above? 🤔

Laura. I have sent in a request again to Admin about the Instagram posting problems. Normally if you want to post a photo from a website you just right-click & copy the image & then just post directly to the thread here, however that does not work with Instagram, it may be that they have blocked users from doing do due to copyright etc.

To post a photo from Insta I use the windows "snipping tool" & when that creates the picture I then right-click & copy the image on here. I then copy the link as well to avoid copyright issues.

To post a video from Instagram is a whole other matter 😏, the only way I could get around it was using the Snapinsta tool ( see link below ) download the link from Insta on to that tool & then create a YT video from there to post on here , it's a very messy way of doing it but it works for me until BJ admin come up with some other solution

It might be worth asking someone on Facebook as I often see reels & videos posted there from Instagram but as Meta owns both Facebook & Instagram maybe the same posting issue does not arise , it might be that it blocks such postings from websites outside of the Meta family , that is purely guesswork on my part.

To post a video from You Tube if you right-click & copy the Url on here & wait a few seconds it works for the url to update in the thread, sometimes it takes longer than others & then copy the source link at the bottom to avoid copyright issues ,

Have a go with the photos first Laura & see how you get on & we can work from there .

  The other day, Ayda and I were called into a parent-teacher meeting to talk about Charlie’s schoolwork.
  He’s been rushing. Not concentrating.

  The lovely teacher said, “For example, we gave them an assignment about bison the other day.”
  And as the word bison left her mouth, my mind wandered… to Yellowstone.
  I started thinking about how those bison used to migrate a thousand miles, until people claimed land and fenced it off.
  And now, with the fences gone, they’ve gone straight back to their centuries-old routes.
  Then I wondered: how did they know?
  What did they think when the fences went up?
  Were they sad? Did it cause anxiety?
  Then I started guessing how much they weigh, how tall they are and before I knew it, I was picturing a herd of majestic bison roaming the plains, wondering what they must be thinking.
  That’s when I realised the conversation between Ayda and the teacher was still going…
  and I’d checked out for two full minutes.
