Was really hoping it would be challenging for a Top 40 this week so I overestimated massively :drama:

It should hopefully make an appearance in the mids today.

I actually also think the extended mix is the one version people will love even more than the original
Am I the only one who thinks this will be be a top 75 hit at most? Nothing against the song quality, but I haven't seen the buzz Padam had or the push Tension got yet.

Info from the midweeks has been posted on SH - blocking it incase people like to wait for the official update

EOSN is not in the Top 100

well its not really surprising?

Not many downloads

No radio playlistings

No video

Club Song

No physicals

It will grow. I have confidence

This time last week I think it's fair to say most of us were very confident it would chart this week so it is disappointing for me that its not.

I'm still very hopeful it will in the weeks ahead though.

I wonder could ireland see it chart first on the back of electric picnic.

i doubt it. The song is not in the Spotify top 200 or Apple Music top 200 in Ireland either. its probably sold 40 downloads?

I hope that it will grow in the following weeks. But for me it was not the Kylie moment that I was hoping for given the buzz. Not nearly as enthusiastic as I was with Padam, Tension or Say Something. If this release leads to a fourth underwelming chart performance, i really think that Kylie should take a break and rethink the concept of the next album.

Have to admit I was expecting a Top 100 mid at least - it had some pre-release social build up, #3 on NMF, lyric video, some ok playlist placements, radio play, Hottest Record R1 exposure, downloads and its released by a current artist in the charts.

I know it doesn’t have physicals, a proper video or remixes yet but tbh that is the norm for releases rather than the exception.

Video coming on Friday so let’s see what that can do - based on what we’ve seen of it not expecting it to change its fortunes though.

Downloads were poor though..

Number 16 after a day and half showed it wasn't phenomenal. Usually she would be comfortable top 10 with just a days downloads. So when it started dropping on Friday and Saturday we knew it hadn't done the job enough.

Radio 1 and Capital Dance and Kiss all say its a massive tune so watch this space!!

As we have seen with Padam and the Tension album, a hit single doesn't mean a bigger selling album. Golden and Disco both sold better than Tension with no hit singles, I think she has the guaranteed silver album, eventual gold sales covered whatever album she does nowadays.

Agree with this - she seems to be ‘safe’ in the gold selling territory. And totally hit singles mean nothing for album success - you need at least 3-4 big streaming hits to be able to translate them into album ‘sales’.

Golden, SBIT, Disco have all hit gold and soon to be joined by Tension.

I agree, her album sales for the 100k to get gold seems fairly safe and single success as we have seen doesnt seem to help her much, I know I expected more for tension based off the success of the singles but it didn't happen but it does highlight how well disco performed considering it had no top 40 from it.

Well from 2 weeks of it been available to chart most of us have been way off in our predictions so far.

Fingers crossed it can least manage a week top 100 at some stage.
