She has one of the best voices in the industry today (not joking) but this is really not doing her justice at ALL. :( It's all just... "fine". Hopefully the full thing is better.. Honestly, I *think* I preferred the 'Tears' snippet at the time more than I prefer this one...

The visuals so far are giving Forget About Us 2.0, hoping she saw the negative comments about that and the video will actually be good...

I think it actually sounds really catchy. Can’t get the hook out of my head since I heard it. Definitely seems light years better than Tears.

I think it sounds by far the catchiest of her singles.

It would be ironic if when she finally does go solo herself it proves that she *can't* make it work and she was absolutely right to refuse to go solo and stick with the group when she was originally contacted all those years ago.

I’m pretty sure that if she’d gone solo 10 years ago the label would spoonfeed her the right material as opposed to now.

It’s so hard to compare because 10 years ago she wouldn’t have had any say in anything it would have been given to her (Puppet on a string pop)

 

Really disappointed though I genuinely thought we’d be getting some grittier pop songs (Olivia Rodrigo Esque ) that had really interesting vocals not just bland paint by numbers pop :(

I agree with this. Perrie always came across as the hippy rocker of the group so I expected something in that vein. I don’t know if she’s shaping her music around what she thinks people want to hear/will be successful but whatever is happening she’s doing herself a massive disservice. :(

This is feeling like such a non event, where’s the hype? There’s no teasing…

I think I judged this a bit too early it’s not sounding terrible and it’s VERY catchy but it’s still lacking something.

 

 

 

 

Radio 1 are playlisting this from Friday, kinda surprised they've gone for it after how 'Tears' performed!
