It's just not that great. Tbh I don't rate either Stupid love or Rain on me, Gaga has some of the very best singles of any pop girl but those two are not them.

 

 

Die with a smile and Disease are vastly superior to me, I am far more excited for this album. I will say I bloody loved Alice on the last album though! :wub:

I think it's great! Like, I can understand from the perspective it may be seen as a simplistic pop song, but it's pretty much the lead single I wanted in 2013 and didn't get.

Not to say it isn't holding on/trickle streaming well, but you also have to consider spotify has twice as many users nowadays compared to 2020. "Stupid Love" is still such a bop *_* Glad to see "Disease" will likely do nice numbers when all is said and done.

I don’t hate ‘Stupid Love’, it’s just….there (something that Gaga is not known for or why I fell in love with her). It’s a generic pop song that doesn’t oomph Gaga, the beat drop is underwhelming and the overall structure of the song is just flat. Vocally it isn’t anything groundbreaking either.

 

(In my opinion of course)
