Posted September 11, 2024Sep 11 In 2003 Kylie reached Number 1 with Slow while Dannii also had huge chart success reaching number 2 with I Begin To Wonder, it was the year that remains the year they both achieved their most recent highest peaks. What are your thoughts on both songs 21 years later and which do you prefer.
September 11, 2024Sep 11 'I Begin to Wonder' is oodles better for me, it's the song that made me properly sit up and take notice of Dannii. It's simply electrifying and it's never gotten old for me. I always really liked 'Slow', but over the last 6/7 years it's really grown so exponentially in my affections and I pretty much consider it a masterpiece now. I also love how versatile it is that it works live in such a vast array of genres and styles!

I agree and blended with the sounds of I believe in you and giving you up and we would have had the ideal follow up to fever rather than for the most part a dull body language. September 16, 2024Sep 16 All I wanna do should have been Dannii's first number 1 hit. Would have been nice, I mean 'Men in Black' was #1 that week and I'd have easily taken it over that! Also not sure I ever realised it was released the same week as 'Tubthumping'! Ultimately though that song did miraculously well for her at the time, so can't grumble.
