Wtaf. I wasn't even a 1D stan but I can't remember the last time I was literally taken aback in shock at a celebrity death like I was when I read that.

Had to double check this wasn't a hoax cause I'd woken from a nap and thought I was imagining it. 31 is absolutely no age.

 

Just sincerely hope it wasn't a sad set of circumstances that led to this. Poor Cheryl and Bear and his family 😔

Reading a few reports that the police are alledgeing it was death by suicide rather than an accidental fall. So frickin sad.

As much as it’s an entirely harrowing situation, at least if the speculation is true it may have been his choice. Far too early to say for sure I know, but maybe some solace can be taken in knowing that this isn’t another SOPHIE situation.

Incredibly sad news he seemed to post Snapchat stories constantly lately (maybe always has?) and his behaviour seemed very different to how I remembered him Slightly erratic.

Suicide is hardly someone's own choice, often it's due to their own mental health having got so bad or so low it forces them to take their life.

 

If this is true what he needed was help and certainly not the barrage of abuse that has been thrown at him lately. The amount of comments I saw about him after a recent Niall concert, some being so nasty, made me wonder wtf is wrong with people.

 

Either way, this situation is tragic no other way round it.

I unfortunately saw the pics from the TMZ article as I went to check if they'd posted about it early on when it seemed to be only Argentinian sources reporting it (as TMZ are vultures and tend to be a reliable way to sort real celeb deaths from hoaxes), I feel like it shouldn't even be legal for them to post that? (They're not super graphic pictures but clearly in grossly bad taste)
