Heartbreaking tributes from all the band, and its lovely to see Zayn included in the group statement, no doubt like his family, friends and fans who adored him each one will deal with the grief differently and in their own way as there is no right and wrong way to deal with grief and loss.
The posts made by the other members of One Direction are really heartbreakingly beautiful, I've found each of them quite hard to read.

Simon Cowell has made a statement on his Instagram which I think is very touching too.

Sadly people just have to be extremely nasty and mean-spirited about it.

All the statements are heart breaking. It just goes to show you how frigging massive they were, their cultural impact across the world is like something I'm not sure we will see again for a long time. Makes you wonder how huge the inevitable reunion would have been.

I just think back to how quickly the news broke and how likely it is so many important people were first to find out via the media, which is just now how things should be.

Cheryl's message is spot on tbh and good for her coming out and saying something especially since she is seeing first hand the effect this is going to have on their son.

The whole thing is truly tragic.

All of the messages are so heartfelt :(

Liam's dad went to visit the hotel today. :( So much paparazzi there - the fans there, they tried to shield him with their hands and their bags (while he was in the hotel, the paps were trying to take pictures from outside, so the fans were blocking the view to give him some privacy), which is very thoughtful. He had a look at the shrine outside of the hotel. Just heartbreaking.

I noticed how volient one photographer was, what is wrong with them, this is the very reason why I refused to be come a photographer when someone to me suggested it after seeing my concert photos in the past, I didn't want to be any where near those type of people.

The passing of Liam is heartbreakingly terrible.

May he rest in peace, condolences to all his family.

Small diversion in discussion, but on Friday I went to see Aston Merrygold on his new solo tour at Shepherd's Bush Empire. I had VIP so was at the soundcheck and M&G in the afternoon.

It was a lovely couple of hours before the show and also the show itself was brilliant, but the mood was definitely subdued amongst everyone - Aston dedicated a new song of his to Liam as well which I thought was a beautiful gesture.

The topic of discussion that I could hear pretty much along the whole queue was about Liam. One girl and her mum I got talking to were also big 1D fans as well as JLS fans and it was just interesting but also sad seeing people process the shock of it all at losing their first huge idol as it were whilst also witnessing the kindness of sharing their collective memories and feelings.

I definitely feel more winded by this than I anticipated to. On a human level, it's the fact he was struggling mentally and feeling unable to get the help he really needed, whilst also being what Cheryl and also Dawn O'Porter and Robbie Williams touched on in their respective tributes, that his son is at risk of being exposed to all of this as he grows up that is heart breaking. I just hope he is protected to the greatest degree possible going forward.
