It's greepin' time. - Greenfroze's medal tally now stands at 1 gold and 1 bronze, with their only previous medal position from us being 18 to TOKYO GEGEGAY in BJSC 144. (Aside: this song wasn't in our top 10 of semi-final 1 even after two listens, but two more listens in the final voting week has been enough to push it up to be the highest ranked song from that semi...! We couldn't resist the allure of a wholesome barnstomper forever xx) - After the narrow miss last month, it hasn't proven to be a long wait for another chance to break our points duck to Ben's Sanctuary, and this time they pull it off - finally a second song from them joins the 4 points we gave to Lady Gaga in BJSC 23, and just about beating that number of points so this more than doubles the total number of points we've given them. (With the caveat that Lady Gaga was ranked 7th to get those 4 points under the 12 point system, so Blank & Jones are ranked lower despite receiving more points). - Macromia get their first points from us on the first possible opportunity (after DNQing in their debut contest). - Also worth noting a couple more songs that grew a lot in the final week - FARC were a way off our top 10 of semi-final 1 as well but end up taking 1 point in the final, while Aelandor and Ajanaeda both didn't get points from us in our semi-final but finish with the 5th and 7th highest ranked songs from it in the final, albeit both still not getting points as our votes wound up being very lopsided to semi 1 songs (a 10/4 split, with the auto-qualifier also getting points).
