June 15Jun 15 The fact the only mechanism the US has to replace a politician (except the President) who dies in office is to rerun an election but not just from the party of the deceased is WILDEssentially there's zero mechanism against Republicans winning 40 out of 100 seats, then tricking 30 of their 60 Dem opposition into a room with a bomb and afterwards, then having an innate majority of 10.

Obviously if it was in MAGA territory it might have been better attended, but the videos of it are so funny. Outside of his fanbase, not really sure anybody really cares for him.

He left a whole manifesto which they’re not releasing yet. Still haven’t caught him despite knowing who he is. In a pair of 2023 sermons, he preached against abortion rights and LGBTQ people.[14][19]https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2025_shootings_of_Minnesota_legislators

I didn’t have time to verify anything. He seems like he was appointed by Tim Walz for something anyway and had previously worked with Hoffman in some capacity certainly came across her multiple times in whatever he was doing. Ideological and personal. Doesn’t sound a MAGA though more just religious zealotry
June 15Jun 15 Democracy is in danger from these fascist loons. The parade was a joke. And now Donald Trump has signed the US up for Russia's version of Eurovision...Christ.

If the shooter was pro-life, and my reading of it is that was the key driver of him committing this attack, then that's a key issue where he was in fundamental disagreement with the people he murdered.
June 16Jun 16 They caught the guy. Alive. In other news despite being probably as unpopular as he’s been in 18 months the Trump’s have launched Trump mobile. A mobile data plan and also a phone that cost 500 dollars 🤨
June 16Jun 16 Trump calling signing the tariff deal with the EU instead of the UK 😁 He's turning in to Biden.
June 17Jun 17 In the MAGA sphere Trump is becoming pretty toxic due to all this conflict given he was supposed to be against wars. Tucker Carlson has been saying he has forgotten what America first means Trump responded by saying he doesn’t matter since he isn’t on TV and then calling him kookyIf they end up losing the house and/or senate and he can’t get much done really all he’ll have is stuff like this which hardly anyone supports and his popularity will descend into the abyss

I don't think a difference in opinion over something as remote as foreign policy will cause masses to break from MAGA.

Dave Smith who was a big vocal comedian supporter has now called for him to be impeached https://www.thedailybeast.com/comedian-dave-smith-apologizes-for-supporting-donald-trump-a-bad-calculation/ which seems a bit extreme but that’s the feeling among a large enough segment. I guess for some others it’ll depend how it plays out but if Americans get dragged into a prolonged conflict there won’t be much support for him left.
June 17Jun 17 Ok but that's a member of the Libertarian Party which I think says it all. This is in some way an equivalent of the Rupert Lowe vs Farage drama where someone with a very online following has a fallout with someone much more prominent, far outside of any election season, and it ends up not mattering at all a few months down the line. Granted there weren't world-changing decisions being made in that conflict. Edited June 17Jun 17 by Harve

Granted there weren't world-changing decisions being made in that conflict. This is what the MAGA base is. It’s a mixture of these like of personalities and libertarians and what not. Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, that comedian guy are all pretty much against Trump at this moment in time and it’s people like that and the Joe Rogan’s who propelled him to victory. They’re only reflective of the vibe from millions of others. There will always be a fringe 15% diehards who’ll go along with whatever but without the rest he’ll just look like a lost ranting old man surrounding himself with loonies which is how he ended his first term with the likes of Rudy Gulliani and Sidney Powell.
Wednesday at 09:015 days It might seem futile but it is interesting how such warmongers don’t know basic details. You can rest assured Trump wouldn’t have a clue either.
Wednesday at 17:445 days Wow Ted Cruz really spelled out why Republicans support anything Israel does. Pretty deranged way of thinking. Can’t see him ever being elected again.
Wednesday at 19:305 days Course he will get elected again for as long as he wants - the electorate are useful idiots for him!
