Nice to see her do a cheeky plug, it can do no harm at all.

Well similar sounding track, of course her articulation is a ‘choice’.

I’d rather her just do a Mariah tbh and go all out for it.

If Kylie is to do a Mariah Carey on it, next year would be a fitting year to do so.

Ideally they will go the physical route next year but im not in any confident of it happening.

All going well next year it will also cross 1 million for her.

She could "do Mariah" if it was an original song, but it's a cover and people have found Eartha Kitt's original so there is no going back.

Eartha's version isn't doing much this year either but Laufeys version is the one in favour this year, uk wise anyway.

In that case, perfect opportunity to forget this exists and push 'Christmas Isn't Christmas Till You Get Here'!

I’m not mad that SB has been relegated for the original version - Spotify always lean towards American too on their playlists which is why so many UK classics have faltered chartwise in recent years.

 

Kylie doesn’t go out of her way to promote or push SB or KC at Christmas - I guess she’s happy to leave that to the pop girlies that rely on Christmas for their annual coin.

One of her songs on there is a Spotify exclusive from last year, so there's a pre-existing relationship there.

Though guess it’s good to support new artists, it’s just that it’s at Kylie’s expense on this occasion. Still Kylie’s SB still on plenty of other lists and picking up plays. As we’ve all said previously, incredible numbers still for the Please Stay B Side!

Good to see Kylie (111) has overtaken (112) on the Spotify chart, both with 116k plays on Thursday.

 

Fingers crossed Kylie continues to build. Noticed the latest Now Christmas playlist/ compilation has reinstated Kylie. Think she’d been left off last years. Anyway I’m guessing that plus the other decent playlists are driving Kylie upwards. Eartha in the 80s. Kylie may overtake her too by Christmas though expect that major Christmas playlist will be the main source of streams worldwide.

With interest slightly increasing we might see Kylie back in the chart this week.
