“Follow Da Leader” was the sole hit for (I think) Trinidadian duo Nigel & Marvin, reaching #5 in May 2002. It appears to have been a rip off of an earlier track called “Follow The Leader” by The Soca Boys, and additionally samples “I Wanna Be U” by Chocolate Puma from the year before.

Not sure I'd have called Follow Da Leader going first in such a poor round, but it's no sad loss.

Follow Da Leader was the one of the best songs here, so much dross to choose from I suppose it split the votes!
Beat It for now. Nothing on the original and they have a better track competing anyhow.
